From there looking at the volcano, the Mt. Vesuvius, we will pass through the Antiquarium, where I will show you the objects found during the last excavations, such as the coin that changed the date of the eruption.
Continuing we will pass through the Basilica, the Forum with the market and the main Temples ... we will walk through the decumanus major.
We will explore some of the most beautiful homes.
The visit will continue through stores and shops, roman restaurants, a visit to the famous bodies, Theatre, Gladiators' Barracks

Our tour guide Riccardo was great, very professional, great knowledge and kind. It was a lack of information by Viator because the guide didn’t have any sign under the name VIATOR so even we were there 30 min before the tour, was not easy to find him.

We did also another trip (Capri) with this company and we did the right choice again! The tour of Pompeii was fantastic! Our guide Riccardo is a pro! Communication was super easy with the office and they provided us a link to pre purchase our skip the line tickets for the site (we had them on the phone with a barcode no need to print). Riccardo shown us the main aspect of roman life and brought to life again the ruins! My favorite stop was the forum bath and the house of vettii! Grazie riccardo and thank you team!

We had Ricardo, and he was probably one of the best tour guides I've ever had. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and we went in a small group. After the tour he gave great recommendations for pizza in Naples, along with other things to see in Pompei. Over all the tour was like most tours one has gone on, but with Ricardo being extremely knowledgeable and having done an excavation there before he knew so much more than your average tour guide. Highly recommend this tour as well as this guide.

I really enjoyed the tour and we walked together the whole time. The guide Roberta answered our questions and was very kind, waiting for us to take photos in several places, but unfortunately towards the end (in the house where there was the expression "beware of the dog") I stopped for 1 minute to a photo photo and then I immediately looked for the group and they continued without waiting for me.... I tried to call the guide Roberta but she didn't answer and she didn't even call me to find out if I was near, far or lost. I went ahead thinking they could continue but I got to the entrance to another part of the club and an employee showed me on the map how to get out of there. I never saw the group or the guide again. He also didn't call after to see if I had found the exit

The guide wasn’t very helpful. She was unorganized and out of the breath for most of the tour. She was also late to start the tour and missed giving is critical information about our tickets which made us miss 20 minutes of our tour that we paid a lot of money for . If there are better tours book those. Skip this one.

Enrica the tour guide brought us along the old cobbled streets of Pompeii brining them to life with stories about the inhabitants, long dead but strangely near, as if they were still the owners and inhabitants of the city.

We were accompanied by the archaeologist Teresa. Obviously a well-prepared person, but particularly capable of keeping his attention high throughout the entire journey. I absolutely recommend!!!!
