The guided tour was booked through our hotel in Naples with Roberta. The visit was fascinating. Roberta speaks excellent French and has a perfect knowledge of the history of Pompei and Roman history in general.

If you walk through the streets of Pompeii without an explanation you will hardly be able to grasp the meaning and beauty of life in a city of the past that remained intact during the eruption of a volcano. We contacted Roberta as a guide for our tour of the excavations on the occasion of the free Sunday and we can only leave a more than positive comment. Two hours flew by without realizing it because Roberta held our attention the entire time, making us go from the theatres, to the houses and then to the main area of the square with great enthusiasm and stories full of curiosity and details. Next time we will also book the visit to the Archaeological Museum to see all the statues and other objects found in Pompeii and preserved there! Thanks Roberta!
