Experience a 2-hour tour of the ancient ruins of Pompeii led by a professional archaeologist guide and skip the line tickets included in a small group of maximum 20 people.
Walk through the ruins and explore this ancient city, buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD. Learn about the history of the town and how the Romans lived and see all the most important public buildings and private houses.

I don’t have one thing I liked more than the other. I had dreamed about going here. Unfortunately, not all my traveling companions were up to really explore as we had been T this for 3 weeks, are 50-70 and tired.

Our guide Yolanta (spelling?) was exceptional. She shared lots of interesting stories about the history of Pompei and the people who lived there. From the positive and nourishing side to the dark hedonistic of ancient Pompei. Wish we could have spent more time with her. Gracie molto!

We visited Pompeii on 02/05/24. The tour was well organised, started on time and everything went on smoothly.
Our guide Teresa was really great and made the experience unforgettable!! She is a passionate archaeologist, fluent English speaker, very smiling and caring person. She managed to give us a full picture of the daily life in Pompeii, as well as the catastrophic events that followed. I really apreciated the extra attention she paid to us (families with two 7y old kids), frequently checking if everything is OK.
I would totally recommend this tour, it was really worth the money.

After doing a little bit of research, it quickly became apparent to me that a knowledgeable guide would be critical to my enjoyment of my visit to Pompeii. I learned so many interesting facts about the lives of the Pompeiians during the hours of the eruption and before that point. Ilaria was well-versed, personable and a very good guide. She gave us time to look around each area while still staying on task and did frequent but unobtrusive head counts. Also, the check in period was very well-organized, I was happy with that. I would highly recommend this tour.

A really amazing archaeological site. When walking through the ruins and witnessing the brilliant detail of architecture people had in B.C. is truly remarkable. Walter was so good at explaining the history in a very detailed manner. A must see when in the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our Guide, Alfredo, provides detailed descriptions of the site, navigated the crowds effectively and provided excellent suggestions of what else to see once the tour is over.

Alfredo was a very good tour director. As an archeologist, he was knowledgeable about the excavations at Pompeii. He took us through the highlights of the ruins and shared interesting facts about the life of the people of Pompeii.

Would definitely recommend this company, our guide brought Pompeii back to life and gave us lots of information and tips. This enabled us to continue our day there better equipped with knowledge on what we were viewing. Very glad that we booked with Askos Tours.

Very informative and knowledgeable guide . We did the 2 hour tour which covered the keys parts of Pompei but if you want to see more book a longer trip . 2 hours was fine for our needs
