Ines met us at the appointed time and gave us a wonderful overview of what happened at Pompeii skillfully navigating the crowds and showing us all the highlights. My 13 year old son was intrigued and throughly invested. Would definitely recommend!

A huge thank you to Raphaele (Lelo) for being a brilliant guide for our family tour of Pompeii. We have three boys (10 year old twins and a 9 year old) who are very energetic and collectively have the attention span of a goldfish - Lelo managed to keep them engaged and interested and entertained for a solid two and a half hours. The tour was very interesting and informative for us adults too. We are truly grateful and very impressed with the huge effort you put in with our kids!

There are simply not enough superlatives to describe how amazing this experience with Lello was, from the moment we met him to the end of our tour he was simply wonderful and especially so with the kids.
He has such an abundance of knowledge and being a archaeologist the information he provided to not only us but the kids and explaining it in such a way that we all leant from him. The time with him just flies and we wish that we could bundle him up and have him as our own private tour guide for every other tour we do.
I can't recommend Lello highly enough and especially if you have children you could not go past utilising the expertise and knowledge of such a person.
He was extraordinary in his knowledge and even more extraordinary with his engagement with our children and us.
If you have children and want to explore Pompeii then I strongly suggest you do yourself (and your kids) a favour and secure a tour with Lello (if i could give him more stars I would!!)

Loretta was our guide. We met her really easily at the pick up point - which was about 5 minutes walk from the train station. She was brilliant and spoke to the children in a way they understood. Her English was fantastic and she told lots of stories and showed clips on her iPad to give the children an idea of what happened. We saw lots of big groups going around with a guide just talking and headphones in - this guide is nothing like that, it is a private guide just for your family. We sat in the cafe while she got our tickets and then walked straight in. Our children are only 8 but they really enjoyed it - they could even tell her the story of some of the gods that they had learnt at school this year and she showed them the story on one of the house’s walls. The length of the tour is just right to keep their attention. You can stay in pompeii at the end of the tour. It is expensive but totally worth the money. I found out a lot about it as well and certainly way better than just walking around on your own or in a massive group.

An excellent tour. Our guide 'Claire', her name was a proper Roman name that I can't remember exactly, but she said Claire is ok, was brilliant at bringing the history of Pompeii alive for our 12 and 13 year old boys. Much better than being in a big group with headsets. I highly recommend this tour if travelling with kids.

Fantastic tour of Pompeii with Roberta. Really engaged the kids (9 and 7) in spite of the heat. The kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt and competition.

We toured Pompeii with our two kids ages 8 and 10 and can’t recommend this kids tour highly enough. Rossana was absolutely fantastic and kindness, knowledge and enthusiasm brought what would have been a pile of ruins to life. Our kids hung onto her every word and we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learning so much about Pompeii’s history. 10/10 - a fantastic experience
