Luisa was a perfect guide. Innthebtheernhoursnwebsoentneith her she got us to all the important places in Pompeii, although 3 hours doesn't begin to do it justice. She skillfully explained historical and archeological facts and was very friendly and spokenvery good English

My husband and I took a private tour of Pompeii with Luisa, an archaeologist. This was a highly informative visit. Luisa brought the city to life, discussing the types of houses and shops and how they were constructed, street layout and the uses of the public space. She also explained how the plaster casts of people and animals were made, how bakeries operated, how food shops functioned, what happened in the days leading up to the 79 AD eruption of Mt. Vesuvius and more. A very interesting and complete tour.

We had an amazing tour of Pompeii with Luigi who was very interesting and knowledgeable. The tour was well paced and followed the expected route, we were also asked about areas we which would particularly like to see. We were a group of four with a five month old baby and Luigi was also very accommodating and helpful with finding suitable facilities for us. A great experience!

Roberto did a wonderful on spite of heavy rain! Tons of walking on a rough terrain. When visiting Pompeii having a tour guide is important… it’s a large site!

We had an excellent private tour with Eliana. She was very responsive to emails and kept in touch prior to the tour. Eliana is incredibly knowledgeable about Pompeii is an expert archeologist. She will tailor your tour to your interests and does not have a canned speech. She invites questions and answers thoughtfully. Highly recommend this tour over a commercial or group tour.
