You will meet your driver and from there he will take care of you for the whole experience, he will drive to Pompeii and introduce you to the guide who will show you the site and explain you secrets and the history behind those incredible ruins. After the visit at Pompeii you will have free time to relax and have lunch(not included) wherever you want, taking a break from the history and refill yourself. Then it's time to explore Mount Vesuvius, you will be going up 1200 meters and admist a beautiful view of surrounding coast of Sorrento and Napoli
The entrance fee of Pompeii Ruins and Vesuvius is not included (€16 euros p.p. for Pompeii and €10 for Vesuvius)

This is an exceptional day trip with a visit to the top of Mount Vesuvius then a guided experience to the Pompeii ruins. We were also treated to a winery lunch as an optional extra which was a lot of fun . Our driver Dino was great . He managed the time scheduling of the day really well and was a wealth of knowledge regarding the historical events. Naples is a very busy city and this was a relaxing stress free way to experience the Mt Vesuvius and Pompeii. Communication was excellent. Recommend .

This was the best way to experience Pompeii and Vesuvius - our driver Dino was very informative and the van was comfortable. It was nice to arrive at Vesuvius early in the morning before the crowds and a private guide through Pompeii was very helpful. We learned so much more than the first time we went without a guide.

The entire day was more than expected. Our driver, Gennaro, was excellent. Knowledgeable, kind, and a skilled driver, he made our day stress free. Vesuvius was awe inspiring and the view of the volcano, the Bay of Naples, City and surrounding area breathtaking. We were driven to the Bosco de Medici Winery for excellent wine and a delicious midday meal and then on to Pompeii. A dream come true. Our guide answered our many questions, imparted a vast amount of knowledge, and made this a most memorable experience

We booked the private driver (Dino - amazing, warm, and the nicest man you will ever meet) through Sofia and had a tour guide (Antonio) for Pompeii. Afterwards, Dino drive us over to the Bosco do Medici winery for lunch. We loved our sommelier Matteo. He was engaging and very funny Truly an AMAZING experience and worth every penny! ❤️❤️

Picked up at our Almafi hotel and drove to Vesuvius first. Dino was a great and informative driver. Very helpful in locating a great lunch near Pompeii. The tour guides at both Vesuvius and Pompeii were excellent.

We had the most wonderful time with Dino. He was full of information and he had a great voice. My family enjoyed spending the day with him.
We had a great guide for Pompei. Sonia was amazing. She knew how to keep us away from the crowds. It was almost like we were there by ourselves. She was also very knowledgeable.
The whole day was amazing. Great guides, great food, great wine, and the sites were wonderful.
Thank you Dino for making us feel like family.

We were so happy with our experience. Our driver, Gennaro was so friendly and attentive and really went out of his way to make sure we had a great day, mount vesuvius was an amazing experience and not as bad of a climb as we had expected, and the tour around Pompeii was incredible, the tour guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable, we would definitely recommend!

Gennaro, our driver, was very friendly and informative. He drove us from Salerno to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii. He shared stories of his life in Pompeii. Upon the return to Salerno he recommended restaurants and gelaterias to try. As we were later going to Calabria he also spoke highly of Tropea. He was concerned for our comfort throughout the day and made sure we were having a nice experience.
Teresa, guide at Pompeii, was very knowledgeable. We had a great experience. It was so much better than trying to view the ruins by ourselves. We were amazed at how advanced the civilization was at the time prior to the first volcanic eruption.
