Our trip was changed from the original booking, so no Herculaneum or winery, however the tour operator gave us an option to substitute a trip along the Amalfi coast visiting Positano and Sorrento with two hours at Pompeii to finish the day. While we were disappointed to miss Herculaneum, it was a great opportunity to see some of the beautiful Amalfi coastline, view the amazing ceramics in Positano, and have a browse through the shops and a delicious lunch at MoMo in Sorrento.
Pompeii was outstanding, but I would have liked more than 2 hours - there's so much to see there.
Our driver for the day, Enzo, was excellent and made sure we enjoyed the trip. Thanks to David for re-arranging the day to give us a great experience.
