Highly recommend this experience! We took the train from Sorrento to Pompei, which was an easy little trip and highly recommended over driving. Liliana was our amazing tour guide for the 2 hour Pompei ruins tour, which was an unbelievable experience. Sofia was our host for the rest of experience and picked us up and drove us over to beautiful lunch and wine tasting at the local winery where their grapes are harvested from Vesuvius. We had an incredible lunch and learned about the different wines followed by a tour of the winery. Our final activity was the stunning horseback ride through the vineyards/farm and to say the views were gorgeous is an understatement! Thank you Sofia and team, this experience is absolutely worth the money. My friend and I left with memories we’ll never forget and we would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking to visit Pompei!

We just spent two weeks in Italy for our honeymoon, and this experience was my favorite day. The meet up instructions were very easy to follow, where Theresa led us on a wonderful tour through the ruins of Pompeii. Our tour group was only six people, so that made it easy to ask questions and avoid the larger groups. We had private van transportation that drove us to the stable (about a 20 minute drive), and absolutely lovely horse ride through vineyards. It was incredibly peaceful, and the view unlike anything else. We then did a wine tasting and lunch at a vineyard, which was the perfect end to the day. I would absolutely recommend this tour, there is something in it for everyone!

A really great combination of fascinating history, awesome food and wine, and touch of nature. Everyone we met at the tour was very helpful and accommodating. This tour was worth every penny.

Our guide through Pompeii was brilliant. She knew so much about the city, architecture and culture. She was a delight to be with for two hours. Our horse tour was canceled because the weather was too dangerous, but not to fear! We ended up going to two wineries. Our driver was funny, easy going and very helpful. It was truly an amazing experience. This company is also great at communication if something comes up.

I loved my horse and the view of mount Vesuvius.. the trail was nice and my guide was great! I felt very comfortable on the horse and he took great pictures of me :) the winery was really nice and I enjoyed tasting all the yummy wines. Seeing all the ruins was fantastic.

Actually the best day I have had in Italy. It was a small group of 5 people. Our guide for Pompeii, Paulo, was so knowledgable, friendly and energetic. The tour co-ordinator/driver Sofia was so sweet and attentive and gave great help from the moment of booking right through to restaurant recommendations for Naples on the way home. The horse riding tour was lovely and the animals are clearly well loved and cared for, and our guide Alexandra was fabulous. We then had lunch at a winery which was delicious. This tour was honestly such fabulous value for money. It rained a little during the horse riding tour but the guides made sure everyone felt safe and happy to proceed. Do this tour if you are considering it!

Horseback riding in the vineyards on Mt Vesuvius was an absolute dream! I loved every minute. I road an endurance racing horse, Ali. His trainer, Giuseppe, was a fantastic guide and the group we rode with was so much fun! I was asked to lead on the way back to the barn and I took the best pictures! ? I couldn’t figure out how to tag the place, Scuola di Equitazione federale centro ippico on insta but they are fantastic!!

In a word, perfetto! The tour of Pompeii was intimate and very interesting, it was my third visit to the town but Enzo our guide took us to see some of the most recent excavations and some stunning frescoes. Enzo was very knowledgeable and his passion for Pompeii was evident throughout. Transport from Pompeii to the horses was seamless, and what an experience the ride was! My girlfriend and I both had zero riding experience but Giuseppe has some amazing horses and our experience (or lack of it) didn’t matter! Quickly got to grips with how to ride his trail horses, after he had matched each riders ability to a horse. The trail itself is stunning, this really is a unique experience you must do! After an hour or so we take the horses back before being driven to the vineyard for lunch and wine tasting, which is in an equally beautiful spot. The food and the wine was delicious, but it is also a fantastic chance to get to know the others in your group of 6 as you’re largely left to your own devices. You’re then transferred back to Pompeii Scavi- and I’d highly recommend getting the train to and from the experience as it makes it so easy! All in all, a perfect day - grazie mille Giuseppe.
