Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice from the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The site is constantly evolving thanks to the continuous excavations that offer new discoveries every year. A professional private guide is highly recommended to be able to visit her better in detail in relaxation in her most important structures. The guide is on request to help you skip the long lines at the ticket office and is not included in the tour price. On request it is also possible to have a 1 hour lunch break for a pizza, or in a famous family house to taste a Menu set ( all inclusive) with traditional local food, drinks, wine, dessert.

We have been on an excursion through Pompeii with the guide called Davide, extraordinary. We have been very hot. But we would repeat without a doubt. The guide, with great patience and experience, explained all the ruins and the culture of Rome in Pompeii. Excellent

Our tour guide SaSa was PHENOMENAL!! He was amazing at painting a picture of what life was like in prosperous Pompeii. We’ve never had a tour guide so thorough, caring, and quite hilarious! Please ask for Salvador aka “SaSa”, he truly made this experience unforgettable for us all.

We had a relatively short Pompeii tour planned but Melania hit all the high points. She was very knowledgeable and was particularly kind to my husband who had some mobility issues. She helped us navigate through ruins, skip past the long lines and showed us some hidden detailed treasures throughout. After the tour, our driver Vincenzo took us to a beachside restaurant. We felt super special there! Everyone knew him and they arranged for a great table with a view. He helped us order and we had the most incredible seafood! We enjoyed visiting with him and getting to know a native Italian. He was so kind, full of life and you could tell he enjoys what he does. Highly recommend!!
