Our family recently embarked on a journey to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii, an adventure organized by friendly and charming Alessia.
The highlight of our journey was the guidance to Pompeii Archaeological Park provided by Alessandra, our witty and knowledgeable tour guide. Alessandra's passion for the history and culture of the region was infectious, breathing life into the ancient ruins of Pompeii.

Overall good tour! Jerry (our tour guide) was very lively and accommodating.
Starts at 9:15 and you go to Vesuvius.
The guide lets you walk up and explore Vesuvius as a group/solo and gives you plenty of time for all walking abilities. Wear something warm - a jumper and a thin coat - you will be cold! I would recommend taking a drink for when you reach the top (although a glass of wine is €2)
Afterwards you get a “surprise” which was a nice break before we had lunch.
After lunch you visit Pompeii. Pompeii was great despite the weather, our tour guide was very enthusiastic about her job which was good. It was short but I felt like I saw everything worth seeing.
Expensive but I enjoyed my day.

Just did this amazing tour from Naples, and wow, it was a blast! First off, we headed up Vesuvius on a bus, and hiking up to the crater was unreal - those views are something else. After soaking in all that nature, we were treated to some authentic Neapolitan pizza at this spot with killer views. Seriously, pizza never tasted so good.
But the highlight? Pompeii. We got a 2-hour guided tour that took us through the ancient streets, into theaters, and even inside a Roman villa. Seeing the mummies was both eerie and fascinating. Walking through history like that was an experience I'll never forget. Highly recommend this tour if you're looking for a day of adventure, history, and, of course, great food!

Visiting Pompeii and Vesuvius with this tour is super cool and easy. In Pompeii, you walk around ancient streets and see how Romans lived before the big eruption. The guides are great - they know all the cool facts and keep things fun. You don’t feel like you’re in a history class, but you still learn a lot.
Then, climbing Vesuvius is a bit of a workout but totally worth it for the views. It’s not every day you get to stand on a volcano! The guides explain the science stuff in a way that’s easy to get, making the whole experience even better.
Everything’s well-organized, so you don’t have to stress about getting from one place to the other. It’s the perfect mix of learning and adventure. If you’re into history or just want a unique day out, this tour’s a great pick.

We booked a guided tour from Naples to Pompeii and Vesuvius. After we paied for the tour we got an email saying the entrytickets were not included in the price and that the mountain was closed. Instead we went to the Virtual Archeological Museum. The museum was of very poor quality and was clearly ment for children. The entire group was dissapointed with the experience.
We booked the tour the day before we went there. The description said the mountain would be closed if there were bad weather or landslides. There were nice and sunny weather the day we went and therefor counted on the mountain to be open. During the tour we were told that the agency knew the mountain was closed three days before and that it would be closed for atleast ten days. Dispite this information, the agency still sold the tour as a guided trip to Vesuvius.
The tour ended early at the museum and the agency called us due to everyones dissatisfaction. They were not willing to refund any money for the tour regardless of their misinformation.
The trip to Pompeii and the lunch at Vesuvius were great. We would still not recommend this agency because of their dishonesty and the feeling of being scammed.

Fantastic tour to discover Pompeii and Vesuvius.
Our guide Alessia, very friendly and knowledgeable, pleasantly entertained us during the minibus journey by explaining the tour with anecdotes and very detailed information in a cheerful and serene atmosphere.
To discover Pompeii we were accompanied by the guide Antonio who, with irony and kindness, made us appreciate every detail of the ancient city.
Very well organized tour also regarding lunch break at the restaurant.
Absolutely recommended.

We had the absolute most wonderful day. The story of Vesuvius' total destruction of Pompeii (and Herculaneum) is really fascinating and being able to feel the whir of history where it happened was fantastic. Not least because of our incredibly competent, entertaining and helpful guide Alessia, who told good stories and interesting facts on the bus. On Vesuvius we saw that the volcano is still active and sends smoke out of the cracks and in Pompeii we were guided around by Enrico, who with his dry humor made the trip through the city interesting and entertaining. All in all, a wonderful experience that we can warmly recommend. And always ask for Alessia, she really goes the extra mile.

The organization was well handled by the group leader, Alessia, who told us some interesting facts during the trip. For 1 day, it's worth it. Also, the pizza was very good and the pompei tour was a lot of fun thanks to the guide.
