Enjoy a full-day guided tour dedicated to archaeology. This private tour includes transportation from/to Salerno, Naples or Amalfi coast, and a walking tour in Pompeii with a local archaeological guide. This tour was amazing! We had the best time, I highly recommend. And our driver, Giovanni was superb… just wonderful. Giovanni was a safe driver and listened to what we wanted to and made the tour so memorable. Thank you so much Giovanni… when we return to the Naples area, we will definitely book a tour that includes you as the driver! The two activities of the tour were incredible… highly recommend this tour and tour company. You won’t be disappointed!

Giovanni was our driver for the day and he did a great job even when the road to Vesubio is a difficult one. He suggested a great place to eat.
We then went to Pompei where Nicoletta took is for a tour. She is very knowledgeable and we had a great visit amid the extraordinary heat!

This is a Bucket List item that is now crossed off. It was made remarkable by the Viatour driver (Lucca) and a kind,respectful, and knowledgeable guide (Barbara). We gave her our direction about what we wanted to see and she made it happen. These things do not always work out, but when they do it is sheer pleasure. Thank you.

We had a separate guide for Mt. Vesuvius and Pompeii. Both were very knowledgeable. The guide for Mt. Vesuvius shared several facts with us as we drove to the mountain. This was good, as once we started climbing it would have been difficult to talk. It is a steep hike with loose gravel so have good shoes and water. There are two stops that have snacks and drinks also. We celebrated the climb with lemonciello at the top! Pompeii was very interesting and can't imagine not having a guide to make sense of it all. She was extremely knowledgable and passionate about Pompeii. Both tours included just our family, so very personal.
