After Pompeii we were in traffic jam for 2 hours just to find out we have to tour around and go back to Rome for 2 hours due to Sorrento being over capacity. 3 days later I have not got a refund or an email or anything from Viator.

Natascia, our tour guide, was very eloquent and informative as she was narrating the historical events during our tour. I was not aware about some of the anecdotes about Italy’s historical figures, I learnt a lot. She was also very entertaining as she narrated them.
When we arrived in Pompeii, Natascia divided us in two groups, one group took the Pompeii tour with her, and another group went with another guide,Willy. I was part of the second group with Willy. And, I had the best time ever. Willy wasn’t just informative, he was witty and very charismatic. He was able to link all historical events to our present, politically as well as socially.
My best regards to both Natascia and Willy! WELL DONE!!!

Barbara went above and beyond and showed true passion explaining everything from sites to local customs, how to act Italian and even how to correctly order gelato properly! Antonio our driver was able to steer the bus in places I didn’t think a Vespa could fit, such a great driver!! Pompeii was a bit disappointing as I expected to see more casts those souls that were trapped but still a nice place to tour. Sorrento is a beautiful town and could have spent more time enjoying the town but could understand the time frame due to the trip back to Roma. Would recommend the tour.

Our guide thru Pompeii spoke broken English and moved at a very fast pace. She skipped some of the most interesting highlights. This was my second visit to Pompeii. I would recommend spending a bit more and hiring a private tour guide.

Far too long on coach. 1 hr in pompei with useless guide. 1 hr in sorrento. Pointless and pointless visit to limoncello. All closed. Veronica was lovely but a very rushed day and a total waste of money. Learned nothing really about either location apart from Veronica. 7 hrs on a coach. Very disappointing indeed

Trip was ok. Tour in Pompeii was rushed. There were 26 of us.tour guide never waited for entire group before she started explaining what things were.She would start walking away before the entire group would finally get there. Then she would say”ok take pictures if you want “ and then moved on to the next room and started talking again. At onee point she was walking and said turn right and she went left. I’m sure we lost a few more at that point. Sorrento was beautiful but extremely short We were there one hour yet tour says 2. They advertise things may happen that cause time changes. Yeah maybe 15 min here or there not a full hour! It’s because they lost ppl at Pompeii we had to wait till they were found and was told “you can order pizza takeaway after Pompeii and we will eat in the bus as we drive to sorrento” and instead they never showed up at the bus so we had to sit and eat the pizza and lost atleast 30 minutes doing that. Just rent a car and buy a Pompeii guide book

Tour Guide Brabara & Francesco are so amazing, even the weather being unpredictable but they are still able to manage and make the trip become a unforgettable experience.

Barbara (Guide) and Antonio (Driver) were excellent!! This was another Viator page tour that went exactly as advertised. The views were amazing and was one of our favorite trips during our vacation in Europe. Barbara was very informative and full of recommendations and interesting facts. I would highly recommend this tour and the tour company (City Wonders ltd). The visit to Pompeii was also excellent. Sorrento captured the heart of my wife!
