Very interesting tour. Very suitable for my husband who uses a walker. I would like to have seen the bottling area or a video of same.
Parking on street is free on Saturday and Sunday, this would have been useful to know in advance.
A few more nibbles to accompany tastings would have gone down well.

I found everything in the tour so informative it made me enjoy the wine even more. The ladies who work there were very polite and friendly it was an amazing experience visiting .

Very informative and enjoyable experience. Pocas is a bit off the track but worth it to support a local family owned Portugeuse Port wine producer.

Amazing adventure with the fantastic guide. Everything was explained super clear and there was also a time to learn about the Porto wine production and the history of the family. Good value to money. The cellar is gorgeous itself and you can smell the wine everywhere there.

I was really late, so I didn't do the tour BUT the lady I'd spoken to on the phone made sure I could still do a tasting! I was surprised and incredibly grateful to her (THANK YOU INES). She was absolutely passionate about the products and the heritage - very happy to her share tasting knowledge & opinions if you asked her. As I was by myself I appreciated that she discussed the flavours with me as it really brought the wines and port wines to life.
There were plenty cheeses, jams, crackers etc to see how flavours changed after/with food and this really added to my appreciation of Pocas products.
I would return on another visit and do a different tasting group of products.
The building is unpretentious on the outside but inside WOW a cavernous room, with racks of wine and casks of wine, a bar and plenty tables for the tasting. It's maybe 300-400m from the Vila Nova de Gaia train station (1 stop from General Torres) - very easy to get to.

Tasting the wines and meeting great people was so great :-) It was nice to learn about the region, tradition, and wine itself. The only small thing I would change - to make the tour in cellar a bit slower, it is a lot of information to process :) Thank you for a nice experience.
