Com mais de 100 anos de vida, a Poças está atualmente nas mãos da 4ª geração, sendo uma das raras empresas de Vinho do Porto que nasceu Portuguesa e se mantém nas mãos da mesma família desde a sua fundação. Os nossos Vinhos do Porto Tawny velhos construíram a reputação da Poças, mas há já 30 anos que os vinhos DOC Douro dão também prova da sua qualidade.
Em 2019 a Poças recebeu prémio de “Produtor de Vinhos Fortificados do Ano 2018”, atribuído pela Revista de Vinhos.
O Centro de Visitas da Poças está aberto ao público desde 2016, tendo sido integralmente renovado em 2018 - um projeto inovador com a assinatura dos arquitetos Lúcia Vaz Pato e António Mota. Recebendo cerca de 28 000 visitantes por ano, em 2018 o Centro de Visitas foi distinguido com o Certificado de Excelência do TripAdvisor.

Amazing and authentic experience! Our guide Felipe was super prepared and friendly, the visit was really interesting and well structured, and the tasting was amazing. If you’re looking for something not touristy this is the cave you should visit!

It was a wonderful experience! Better than expected. The explanation by the tour guide was great, she was so nice and smiley communicating clear concepts about the different processes to make the wine. The tasting was algo great, with 4 different options which were so tasty.

Filipa was my tour guide it was fantastic, very kind, she knew everything. It was a pleasure to meet that kinda of vibe and knowledge. Aswered all our questions and even in the tasting part when she was presenting the wines you could tell she knew what she was talking about ! Really enjoyed it 😊! did in portuguese with another couple almost like a private tour.
