You paddle on stunning Pittwater, then walk up to the Lovett bay waterfall where we have a yummy picnic lunch.
After lunch we retrace our steps (and paddle strokes) to our point of departure.
This is a relatively easy paddle but the walk is quite steep so you should be at least moderately fit.

Iconic views of Sydney’s Pittwater combined with serene bushland, waterfalls and a gourmet lunch, this paddle is not to be missed!
Starting from McGarr’s Creek, the paddle across to Lovatt Bay suits most fitness levels and offers a chance to explore one of Sydney’s most beautiful waterways and experience the serenity of the bush under the capable eye of Sydney Kayak’s expert guide, Sam. We paddled past pristine bushland and the offshore communities that ring Pittwater to arrive at Lovatt Bay, beached our kayaks on the sand and took a short bushwalk up the hill ( an easy climb) to see the most spectacular rock platform, complete with waterfall and pools, and truly amazing views. Sam prepared and served a delicious lunch with choices to suit all tastes. A little time to relax and contemplate the natural beauty of the area and then, reluctantly, time to walk back down to the beach for the return paddle – an all round wonderful day! Put this on your ‘must do’ list !

What a great day! Thanks to the Team Sam and our guide Warren for making such a memorable experience for my wife's birthday. A great tour, plenty of time at sea and a rewarding nature walk and waterfall bath with a view and picnic lunch to remember. Highly recommended.
