Doing a photo tour with Glen was the highlight of my trip to NZ. Glen is such a fantastic teacher—he has the rare combination of talent, patience, a terrific sense of humor, and a knack for explaining complex techniques clearly. I learned so many practical skills and came away feeling more inspired about photography than I've felt in a long time. Could not recommend more.

Glen made sure that we were at some spectacular locations when the light was at its best. Fresh snow added to the atmosphere and the mountains looked amazing. I picked up some really useful photography tips from Glen and really enjoyed his company. As well as the Glenorchy tour I also did the Skippers Canyon tour which was incredible too.

Fantastic! Went on a sunrise tour to Glenorchy and beyond with Glen and had a great time. My camera was playing up so Glen immediately offered me his back up camera and tripod. Glen knew the area well and was flexible with plans. I was the only one booked that day so it felt like a real treat to have one on one tuition and guide around the area. The scenery was spectacular and varied. Glen helped me with settings on the camera as I was not very experienced at all. By the end I had learnt a lot. It was an incredible feeling to capture an amazing photo. Glen was easy going, chatty and knowledgeable. Would happily go on a tour with Glen again. Highly recommend!

Booked a half day Glenorchy trip with Glen, had so much fun I ended up doing another two (Skippers and Nevis Range). Glen was a great guide, friendly and helpful. Set us up for the best photo opps, helped with settings, and was conscious of the changing light and conditions, but was also guided by the needs of the other person and me so didn't rush us until he had to, to ensure we got to the next spot at the right time! Highly recommend a tour with Glen if you are keen on capturing the beauty of NZ on a relaxed and fun trip. Oh, he's a good, safe driver too!

We began early to take advantage of the first light breaking over the mirror like reflection of the lake at Glenorchy. The scenery was magical and i learned some great pointers about shooting long exposures.

I had a fantastic private photography tour with Glen. We arranged an early pick up to get the best light before sunrise and achieved amazing results. Without a shadow of a doubt, with Glens advice and encouragement I took some of the best photos I have ever taken. Glen is a likeable guy and easy to get along with. If you are after some memorable photos, this is the tour for you.

I did two half day tours with Glen of which the Queenstown to Glenorchy was one of them. I was picked up about 4.30 Am from my Queenstown accommodation so we could be in Glenorchy about an hour before sunrise and we were lucky with the weather as it was dead calm Glen took me to the wharf first so we could take photos in the twilight with the light on the wharf still lit going and we then moved on to a shell bank just beyond the wharf to photograph the mountains in the rising morning light reflecting on the water. Later we took photos of some of some sunken trees. Glen has a good knowledge of the area, is easy to get along with informative and helpful. On the way back to Queenstown we stopped an another couple of good spots inclding a deralict jetty and a view back to Glenorchy. It was a very good morning and I was delivered back to my accomodation looking forward to my afternoon trip in Skippers canyon. I enjoyed to so much I booked a time next year to go on another trip up the Nevis valley.
