This was such a great way to spend a day! Each winery was so different and they were lined up on the schedule perfectly. It made for a much better appreciation for what they’re doing. Wine was delicious, food was yummy, and everyone was very friendly! Very relaxing day!

The tour was anaxing! Xavier was fun and knowledgeable and the small group was perfect for our trip. We had a delicious local lunch and visited theee small vineyards complete with a tour! Every tour was informative and everyone was so welcoming and warm! Would highly recommend this tour!!

David was amazing!! Of the 12 days we spent in Spain this was probably our favorite day. He gave us lots of information, took us to an amazing local restaurant that grilled meat and let us grill duck at our table!!! He told us about the local traditions and gave us some insight into Catalonia and Barcelona. The 3 wineries we went to were unique and amazing in their own ways. I cant say enough about how great the day and our tour guide were. I almost felt like a local. Just a perfect day. Thank you!!

Fun, friendship & education. 3 quite different wineries - one family, one larger but experimenting with climate change options and the 3rd introducing new styles through changes in techniques.Very enjoyable lunch by the vineyards with the other couple on the tour.

Our tour guide and the overall group made it a fun and entertaining experience. Each Winery we stoped at had a special character and added to the overall experience. Highly recommend for learning about Wine in this region.

My husband and I just experienced the perfect day in the countryside of Barcelona. We went on a wine and cava tour with Rod as our guide. We visited 3 wineries and learned so much about wine, cava and the region.
Rod was the best! He was interesting and knowledgeable about the Penedes wine region and the history of Catalan. Since we brought a picnic we did not need to stop for lunch. Instead, Rod found us the perfect picnic location, a medieval castle.
We highly recommend Explore Catalunya and are looking at booking another tour this week due to the excellent services provided by Rod.
