The views were amazing. The guide was very patient to spot animals like howler, & white faced monkeys, turtle, birds etc.

This was the perfect excursion! We were picked up at 7:45am and we’re back at the hotel by 11:45am. Our tour guide, Diego, did an outstanding job teaching about the local agriculture and history of the towns we passed on the short drive to the launch site. He was very informative on the wild life we saw too. He even spotted a sloth on our drive home and stopped to take pictures with his telescope.

This was so fun! It was a relaxing way to see nature and learn about Costa Rican plants and animals! Cesar went above and beyond to make sure we saw the wild life and heard the howler monkeys. He was amazing! I’d highly recommend this tour.

Jose the driver was friendly and timely, David our guide was phenomenal! His knowledge of the river and ALL of the flora and fauna was incredible and made the trip truly special. He set honest expectations early and then exceeded them at the last minute with a sloth sighting! We also saw bats, monkeys, iguanas, tons of birds including some fleeting toucans, motmots, and inhingas to name a few. His bird calls were great and kept the kids entertained and the snack/lunch at the farm at the end was delicious and authentically Costa Rican. The farmer was very welcoming and the vibe was perfect, we'd go again in a heartbeat!

Jose the driver was great and David was an amazing guide! David was extremely knowledgeable of the flora and fauna of the jungle and has a very keen eye for spotting animals. He had an answer for every question we had and is very passionate about conservation. His bird and animal called were amazing and kept the kids very entertained. We saw numerous birds, a large troupe of monkeys and even lucked out on a 3 toed sloth at the very end of the float! Great experience and we highly recommend!

All of it! We were picked up at the hotel, and taken to the site on a farm area. The guides Raul and Roy coil not have been more fun and friendly. They loaded us up in the inflatable raft, taking great care of the two older members of the group, and off we went!
It was peaceful and magical- lots of reptiles and a couple sloths high in the trees- then we had so much fun with our guides who were perfect imitators of howler monkeys- as when we saw them up high they called to the monkeys who called back probably thinking to warn off a rival.
At the end of the river safari they took us to a beautiful outside covered area attached to a farm, where we sat at a table and were given cheese, plantains, beautiful banana bread- and the most divine coffee!
All around us were free ranging chickens, beautiful birds and friendly little dogs. We weren’t rushed, and enjoyed our trip and the snack after so much.
I recommend it highly- the guides were fabulous, the trip was exciting but safe for all ages- and we all loved it.
You have to try this safari!!

Great excursion!!! They are super friendly and their lunch after the tour was the best of all the other tours we've been to. David, our tour guide is very nice and knowledgeable.

From start to finish this adventure was incredible. Jose our tour guide was simply incredible. On our way to the river, he shared an immense wealth of knowledge about the people, the culture, the eco-tourism industry, and many other incredible interesting things. He was truly a pleasure to listen to, and had an incredible personality, vitality, and pure joy about him. Once on the river, he was super helpful in not only spotting wildlife (over 30 monkeys - 2 different species), caymans, iguanas, too many birds to list here, Jesus Christ lizards, a mama sloth and her baby, and a toucan. The river tour was very relaxing and the perfect length. Highly recommend!

This tour was definitely a highlight of our Costa Rica trip. Our guide, Bernardo B., was amazing! He found so many animals. Most we saw without the need of binoculars or scope, but he also took some amazing pictures on our phone through his scope. The pace of the tour was perfect and it was a great way to experience the beauty of the area. The pickup and drive to the spot was easy and comfortable, and we ended at a cool rural ranch/restaurant that served some very yummy snacks. I'd hands down recommend this tour to anyone.
