1. Pearl Harbor National Memorial
We begin at historic Pearl Harbor where you will experience firsthand the earth-shattering events that catapulted the U.S. into World War II. Join us at the USS Arizona Memorial, a deeply moving and emotional experience where you will learn about the 1,177 seamen who perished when their battleship was sunk during the December 7, 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. You’ll witness the attack in a 23-minute documentary and then cross the harbor to the Memorial in a Navy vessel. At the Memorial, pay your respects to the heroes whose names are etched in marble in the Shrine Room. Look into the water and note the oil droplets – “The Black Tears of the Arizona” – that continue to escape the sunken battleship and rise to the harbor surface. Back at Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, there will be time to visit the WWII museum exhibits and the bookshop.
2. Dole Plantation
Next, we stop at Dole Plantation dedicated to Hawaii’s pineapple growing history. Shop for souvenirs at the Plantation Store and even taste a delicious frozen Dole Whip treat. As we head to Polynesian Cultural Center on the North Shore, we’ll pass by famous surfing beaches like Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach, where the world’s best surfers test their skills at championship tournaments in November and December.
3. North Shore
Our breathtaking voyage continues as we take in the valleys and cliffs of the emerald green Koolau Mountains and the rocky shoreline of South Oahu. You’ll be amazed by the incredible panoramic views from Nuuanu Pali Lookout, Makapuu Point, and Hanauma Bay.
4. Polynesian Cultural Center
Arriving at Polynesian Cultural Center, you’ll enter a world that celebrates the music, dance, and way of life on six Pacific Island nations: Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, and New Zealand. Let me start by saying, our tour guide Ric was great. He was prompt picking us up at the airport from Maui and provided some history and landmarks in between stops. Ric provided some guidance on the stops of the most liked sites/shows/treats to get the most out of our time. The tour itself fulfilled every point on the tour description. I gave this a 4 star solely because I would have liked more time at Pearl Harbor and The Polynesian Cultural Center as there is much to see and learn that cannot be done in the time allotted. As with all group tours, the other members on the group tour can alter times at stops and the overall ‘Aloha Spirit’. Be back at the stated time. Engage with the tour guide and have fun with the group you’re spending the day with. Last, plan ahead to tip your tour guide 15-20% of the cost the cost of your tours (for any of them, regardless of company). This was a surprise for us, so please heed this knowledge ahead of time. Hawai’i depends on tourism and tips to survive, not get rich.

More stops than just advertised ones. Guide was very knowledgeable and fun! Only wish we had more time at the Polynesian cultural center.

My first Hawaiian visit and tour. Our tour guide Papa P was the best. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we learned a lot. He gave us snacks and even shared his pork kabobs 😂😂. Please use this company when in Waikiki. You will not regret it. The rain was a bummer but Papa P made sure we were safe and well informed and even gave us some entertainment thanks Papa P.👍👍Jackie (The one who tried to snorkel 😂😂)

This review is for the pearl harbor, Dole & Polynesian with flights from Maui. Our tour guide was Johnny, Johnny Aloha as he goes by. We had a wonderful day trip flying in the AM from Maui to Oahu, we were picked up from the airport by our guide. Highly recommend the Pearl Harbor and Polynesian culture center !! Our tour guide (Johnny) pointed our several stories of the views we were seeing, kept us informed on timing and ensuring we stayed on track with the full itinerary. You'll spend a few hours at PH, and Polynesian culture center both are an absolute must see. The Dole plantation is more of a gift shop so less time spend there. We were able to even stop a few times for some breath taking views, and eat at a family owned shrimp farm for lunch (chicken & veg option too). Highly recommend this tour !! Our guide made the trip even better ensuring we had questions answered, stayed hydration and well educated on what we were seeing -- he's even got some great stories that will keep you laughing the whole day ! Tour was July 2023
