Our guide RJ was really fantastic. He told insightful and interesting stories on the bus ride to Pearl Harbor. Since it was an open top bus, a lot of his commentary could not be heard over the noise of the traffic. The sound system needs improving. But overall RJ was a highlight of the trip.
In terms of Pearl Harbor Arizona Memorial, it was a letdown. RJ had highly recommended the movie which we wanted to see but the lines were such a mess and when we asked the park ranger to enter the theatre, she was dismissive and more focussed upon boarding the visitors for the ferry. By the time we worked out where the movie theater was, there wasn’t enough time to watch it before our bus left. This was disappointing as without the movie, I felt like we didn’t have context. In my opinion, the movie should be a part of the experience of visiting the USS Arizona memorial. The visit should start with the movie and then the visitors should move onto the ferry to visit the site. Without it, the visit to the memorial did not have the impact that it should have had. The whole thing felt rushed.

RJ our driver and was amazing, five stars! He told us stories on the drive and made everyone laugh.

Chelsea was wonderful! She gave us a fabulous tour of the city and gave exceptional details so we could utilize our time to the fullest while at Pearl Harbor! Would recommend without reservation!

The city tour was very interesting, our guide Cheslsei was very knowledgeable, interesting and fun! It was a good way to experience the history of honolulu and see Pearl Harbor.
