What a fabulous first day in Italy/Sorrento for us!! We signed up for this hike at the last minute by changing our scheduled plans to Tuesday so we can do this Path of the Gods hike and we were not disappointed. This was one of the best memories we had on our European trip.
Thank you to Nino and his team for such a great day up the mountain and our visit at the farmhouse was pretty special and memorable.

The combination of hiking a gorgeous trail and learning about the history, lifestyle and flora of the area made for a really memorable day. Even the drive to the trailhead was fun as Nino has a wonderful way of sharing his excitement and knowledge. It was the highlight of our trip to Rome and Sorrento.

What a beautiful and well run guided hike! My husband and I had a great time...it was more than he thought it would be, but he was so glad he did it! He has a fear of heights, but did amazing! There are some steep steps and some rocks to navigate. We wore low trail ankle gaitors for hiking with our shoes to keep dust, rocks and scree out of our shoes. I'm glad we did. It is not just a beautiful walk, but has some true hiking in the mix. Make sure you take water and sunscreen and wear good shoes. They provided one pole per person, which was plenty. Antonino was a delightful guide, gave great history and information and was great at keeping the varied group together! The light lunch at the Shephard's house was delicious and added a lot to the experience! I highly recommend!

The bus ride over in the morning, with rush hour, took about 1.5 hours from the Sorrento city center. The ride back took about 1 hour.

The guide(s) were personable and informative! Giovanni(Johny) had a wealth of knowledge about the history and topography of the specific and surrounding areas. My fellow trekkers were fun and likeminded in their desire to be in nature and the moment.

A very memorable experience! My original plan was to figure out how to get to the trail myself. But after putting it in my phone I realized it took multiple busses or trains. So I found the tour last minute. It was amazing. I go to the gym 3-4 days a week and I found it to be moderate. It’s a long day but very worth it. The lunch at the shepards stop was amazing and truly a once in a lifetime experience.

I loved the views and so much herbs. Our guide made us smell and guess the different herbs they were.
Loved the shepherds farm. The welcoming dog and limoncello, the donkey were so adorable.
Had a great hiking experience overall
