Visiting the Museum of Illusion after the Paradox Museum is a very, very bad idea.
The Museum of Illusion includes exactly the same photo activities, except that they are much fewer in number and less well presented. (it must be said that the Paradox Museum is very recent, and so everything there is new and gleaming)

Four people, we visited the Museum of Illusion. Bad luck, the museum was full of people that Saturday, which meant that we had to make an impromptu queue before each "photo activity" and then go back to the next queue... (knowing that the museum was full of electric kids running around, overtaking and staring at your photo because they didn't see that you were already prepared. You can't really blame them, since they're kids. was painful.)
It's also difficult to frame to get a good photo, when you always have people waiting on the side and reflected in the mirrors...
Suffice to say that with our group of four adults, we several times gave up taking photos in these conditions... Everything was crowded everywhere. We arrived at the exit, in barely fifteen minutes, with the feeling of having done nothing. There was a severe lack of things to see/do, apart from the few photo activities offered.

In the end, the experience was rather unpleasant. For entry tickets of around €20 per person... For us too, the puns on the "museum of disillusionment" were rife.

Absolutely awful. A joke. It was an insult to be there, quite frankly. And to top it off THEY DONT GIVE REFUNDS! so you will lose your money too. Where to start? Big queue to get in. No idea why as when you get in you realise it's not a museum after all. It's inside a shop space. It has cheap tacky rubbish illusions on the walls. One broken and the handle off exposing the screw. Safety issue! It was jam packed so couldn't look at anything as felt rushed and children all over the exhibits. Nothing like what you see online. There's no lights or lasers or technology. It's rubbish, cheap, poor quality things on walls. More like a fun house at a circus. I thought it was a joke. There's an illusion tunnel that was so cheaply done you could hear the crinkle of the paper as it slowly went round, and the blobs of paint. In and out in less than 10 minutes. Emailed 4 times afterwards asking for a refund. They finally replied that there's no refunds. Absolute waste. They ought to be reported either to national museums governing bodies, ombudsman, government and the police for daylight robbery! Extortionate. Hope they read this and shut down. Don't waste your money, I promise you, you won't like it here

The Museum is basically very interesting and fun, but it deserves to be discovered with a much smaller number of visitors. The day we came, it was crowded, very noisy and people were jostling to access the different tables and games, which spoiled the pleasure we could have had there in other conditions.

Completely excessive price for this visit to a narrow place and ultimately of little interest. We are only allowed one route through a narrow space, whereas we should be able to step back to appreciate the optical illusions, and photograph without being rushed. No animation, the attractions are fixed, installed once and for all, nothing animated outside the tunnel.
Two safety warnings:
- I am not the only one, it seems, to have been embarrassed by the crowd. This is a place open to the public, and there must be a regulatory limit to the number of visitors: I am sure that this limit was exceeded, and by a large margin, at the time of my visit.
- The very principle is to pose problems to our logic, disrupt our understanding, challenge our perceptions. No warnings given at the entrance to people who might suffer from epilepsy or neuronal problems.

I wouldn't say: to avoid. But the theme deserves other installation and visit conditions. For the moment, in bookstores and libraries, we find a number of books and albums presenting these optical illusions, the "museum" does not provide anything more.

It is not possible to give a score of zero! This museum is a scam! Theft! For 3 people, €48 and not even 40 minutes inside with an incredible crowd! What a desappointment !!

A shame, a scam, to avoid! 70 eur for four for a 10 poor activities that fight in a duel! Pay attention to the comments with photos which have been loaded on trip by mistake by some who have confused them with their visit to the paradox museum which is apparently worth the detour!!! We were impatiently awaiting this family outing, a wasted day! We drove a total of three hours for this scam!

I went there with my family and a friend, I didn't pay and I don't know if it's too expensive or not but in any case I loved it
Of course it's very small and sometimes you have to queue but it's worth it and what's more it takes our time.
I didn't really like the fact that it was narrow, imagine it for a clostro!!!
But illusions are nice especially for photos 🙃
In terms of location it's a bit "hidden"
But to do at least once in your life.

It was overpriced and very small, I would not call it a museum. I would not recommend it and it was a complete waste of money.

We came as a family on a Saturday at lunchtime. We had reserved our places in advance. We had to queue to get in. Once inside, there were really a lot of people, so to take photos you have to wait until the people before you have finished, and don't waste time taking yours because people are waiting behind you. I find the museum really nice to visit, however I find that they really let too many people in given the space there is inside. It’s a shame, it doesn’t allow you to live the experience peacefully. Furthermore, the museum is quite quick (around 30 minutes), I find the price quite excessive given what there is to do inside.
