On our Secret Food Tour: Le Marais Paris, you'll enjoy a variety of classic French street foods starting with a viennoiserie/croissants, and collecting breads, then go and seat to enjoy a classic croque-monsieur in the very restaurant where Jim Morrison spent some of his time in Paris, along with discovering our mystery dish and cheese while enjoying a glass of red and white wine. Visiting Le Marais also means seeing the Jewish street of Paris and tasting some creamy Falafels. Then off to a world of sweetness for some incredible chocolates and colourful macarons, all of this crowned by a dessert to finish with style.
Our tour starts at the bustling heart of Le Marais near the famous rue de Rivoli, one of the main streets of the city. During the tour we will walk the old streets, cross the Place des Vosges and see some of the oldest medieval houses of Paris. You will realise how the locals live in this part of Paris and how the city's history influence has shaped its gastronomy.

The tour was amazing. Baptiste was an excellent guide. He’s very knowledgeable of the area and we got to try some delicious food items. The Le Marais area is beautiful and charming and everyone was friendly.

Our 8 friends did a food tour in the Le Marais neighborhood of Paris with Imogen today. It was fabulous! Not only did we sample the best croissant my husband and I have ever eaten, but Imogen gave us the history of the neighborhood and took us to many interesting and historic parts of this very diverse neighborhood. We had delicious cheeses and wines and the best croque monsieur I’ve ever tasted at a charming bistro. We tasted falafel and wonderful macarons and chocolates at a very upscale shop. Imogen was so passionate about the food and about her city. We all really enjoyed ourselves. The group was limited to 12 people. We met some other friendly travelers. We were so full. Plenty of food! Worth the price.

We booked the tour last minute and we’re lucky to get the last two available spots. Our guide, Baptiste was excellent with a very good knowledge of the area and the history of the neighborhood. The quality of the food we tasted was definitely way above what we have had before with very generous portion sizes. Highly recommend this experience.

I have been travelling for over 8 weeks and have done loads of tours. This tour with Baptiste was definitely one of my all time favourites. We were a small group and within no time, it felt like we were sitting around with a group of friends. Baptiste was so knowledgeable about the food and wine and shared his knowledge in a conversational way, rather than a traditional “guide telling us” way. The range and quality of the food and wine exceeded my expectations as did the entire tour.
