Can't say enough about how great this experience was. Igor was an absolutely exceptional host. We got to see and understand all the behind-the-scenes of a quintessential Parisian bakery, as well as make our own croissants, baguettes, and financiers. We learned so much and got to take home so many delicious things. I have already recommended this to several friends.

It was such a great privilege to have been taken through the bakery. Our guide ‘Nono’ was very knowledgeable, and to be able to roll baguettes and see how the professional bakers go about their daily work was a great experience.

Our family loved the tour! Our boys (8 and 10) were skeptical but had so much fun they didn’t want to leave. We loved the behind the scenes tour, hands on demonstrations, fun facts, and lots of goodies to take home. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon!

Mourad was our host and teacher who was very personable and super nice. We started off the tour sampling delicious baked goods and coffee in the front of the bakery. We then toured the back of the Manon bakery and watch the bakery workers making croissants, baguettes, pan du chocolate and many kinds of pastries. Mourad was super informative about the different types of baguettes, how they are made, the doughs that go into making croissants and pan du chocolate. He was also very patient answering questions and even shared some recipes. I never knew there was more than one type of baguette or how long the dough needed to rest before baking! There were some points in the tour where we actually formed baguettes, rolled croissants and made financiers. It was a great combination of learning, watching, doing and sampling. It gave me a new found appreciation of the work and time that goes into making the delicious breads and other baked goods at a Parisian boulangerie. At the end of the tour, we were able to take home several of the baguettes and financiers we made to snack on later. I would highly recommend the tour!

What a memorable behind the scenes look at an historic Paris bakery. Our guide was fun, and attentive. We made baguettes and cakes and rolled croissants for the next day. The bakers were very kind despite their trying to get their work done in cramped quarters. We would recommend this tour to all. We had a young boy on our tour and he loved it.
