It was so quick and easy. Felt guilty with all the people in line but we got to skip right by. You definitely have to go to the top. The views are breathtaking but just riding up the glass elevator really takes your breath away!!

I received the tickets the day before. No problem. The lines are long and the wait for elevators takes a long time as well.

We were able to go up to the 2nd floor easily though we still had to cue for the security and the elevator so there was a bit of a wait. However I think without buying tickets this way it would have been an even longer wait so I think it was worth it.

We purchased summit tickets that stated we would have a tour guide. The day before our excursion I received an email confirming our self guided tour of the Eiffel Tower. I am disappointed and feel as if I was scammed as we paid a premium for our tickets. Next time I will take advise I was given and purchase direct!

Everything went according to plan. Visited the summit of the tower with my family that day.
On remark: I found it puzzling why time slots had to be reserved and couldn't be adjusted. Despite there being few visitors that day and us arriving early, the inflexibility of the time slots prevented us from entering earlier.
Additionally, perhaps this was an oversight on our part, but we still found ourselves waiting in the regular queue rather than the "priority line" we had anticipated.

There is no reason to get a guide at the Eiffel Tower. What you want is a guaranteed ticket to get up to the summit, which this is. There wasn’t really a line at security when we went through, and there was a long line to get on the elevator, but maybe 20-25 minutes(?) but there is no way to avoid that. I was happy to have a ticket emailed to me, no fuss, and see the Eiffel Tower.

It was very impressive. You have to plan enough time: security checks, possibly toilets, and even if you have pre-booked tickets you have to queue. But everything is clearly signposted.
