Not a good one .
Had to call for my tickets . I paid for skip the lines… waited 50 minutes to get in .
I’m a big fan of VIATOR. But this one was a horrible experience.

The catacombs itself were superb, but the ticket purchase process was absolutely terrible. After havjj in g several emails (none of which actually gave me the tickets, I then had to go through different links to get to my tickets. I don’t understand why when you book it, that the site doesn’t send you your tickets straight away. Tripadvisor, if this is a partner issue it needs to be dealt with swiftly.
The catacombs are a sombre place and worth the visit, just be prepared for the steps down and up! Everyone should visit and pay their respects.

If you're reading this, you probably missed your one hour window to buy tickets a week in advance for the time slot you were hoping for and now you're scrambling for a backup plan...sound about right? Well you and me both, bestie.
While I was not stoked that Viator (or the tour group who uses it) had increased the price about 6x more than the original vendor would have, I was happy to have a butt-saving option to prevent disappointment. It seemed a bit sketchy with the way the tickets were going to be delivered via a message sent the day before from the tour operator with a link to Google Drive but it all worked out. Our tickets scanned fine and everyone was happy. The catacombs ended up being a highlight of our trip!

The experience was eerily beautiful and left a lasting impression. The only point deducted is that we bought 2 tickets with an audio guide but only received one. When we asked at the ticket counter, we were told that there was only one with a child (I was travelling with my 10-year-old son). An audio guide for 2 people was very impractical because you had to hold the device to your ear.
