My visit to Le Capitaine Fracasse on L'île aux Cygnes was a regrettable experience from start to finish. The lack of customer attention and inadequate service left much to be desired.
From the moment we arrived, the absence of a welcoming and attentive staff was noticeable. We felt as if we were invisible, having to wait considerably to be acknowledged, even though the place was not crowded.
Once we finally managed to attract the attention of a staff member, we realized that the lack of knowledge about the menu and recommendations was evident. Simple questions were answered with hesitation, and there was no interest in making our experience enjoyable.
The service during the meal was equally disheartening. Dishes arrived lukewarm, and our additional requests were ignored. It seemed like the staff was more focused on other tasks than ensuring customer satisfaction.
In summary, the lack of customer attention and poor service at Le Capitaine Fracasse made our visit disappointing. I cannot recommend this place to those who value a pleasant dining experience and attentive service.

Wonderful experience. Fabulous food and table by the window. Jewel was an excellent waiter and made our evening memorable. This is a must do in Paris!!

One of the most magical experiences ever! The food was outstanding, the music was a vibe! Would definitely recommend for tourist who are looking for a fancy dinner on the water with the perfect Eiffel Tower view and the Statue of Liberty

The views were good and the food was delicious. However, in my opinion, I think it was overpriced. I went with my mom and we were prepared to pay separately for our wine and meal uncharges thanks to the reviews I had previously read. However, our total by the end of the night, between the up charges and the ticket prices, were €220 total. In my opinion, I just don’t think this evening was worth this much money.

I was very excited about this experience. It was recommended by visitor and looked like something that was a must to do. However from the moment I started the experience my faith in the cruise company and viator shifted. There was a little language barrier which was to be expected but the service was terrible. We started off by ordering drinks which did not arrive u til after the first course was finished. The waiter brought us the wrong bottle of wine to begin then had to be repeatedly asked for the right bottle. We weren’t the only table so it forced me to not get upset as everyone was experiencing the same frustration. However someone from a larger group complained to the manager and his entire attention went to them. The smaller tables were completely neglected. I was served food 25 mins before the other 3 people at my table so by the time their food arrived mine was completely cold. No acknowledgment or consideration taken. The bill was wrong as we asked for several drinks that never arrived but magically found the way to the bill. Overall this was a poorly run experience. It made me question everything viator recommends and will make me verify with other sites prior to trusting this site again. I have had grey experiences with them but this one has really soured the good times I’ve had. Needless to say it was a great way to start my birthday, yay. Don’t book this experience. I’ve had better experiences on land in a restaurant.

Traffic delayed our arrival at the dock by 15 minutes, but the boat had not departed yet, so we were happy to make it. The food was excellent, the service responsive, and the night sights of Paris magnifique!

The food was good, but i would to complain why i was charged an additional 15 euros for my selection of beef among the 3 choices of main food. It was supposed to be free as one of the 3 courses. I demand a refund of 15 euros. You may refer to the photo i uploaded for the 15 euros charged to me.

Being able to see things at night from the boat was spectacular. However, you would need to be next to someone who can accurately identify things you were viewing as you passed by. The story of statue of liberty’s replicas (there are 5 in Paris) were quite interesting. I ordered the steak for dinner and hubby did fish. He said his was really nice. My steak was a little tough and chewy. I enjoyed the strawberry desert a lot. While on the top deck for viewing, and like most places in Paris, you will need to tolerate second hand cigarette smoke. Blah! Who still smokes these days? ??♀️?

This was a nice trip. I would have enjoyed it more if someone was informing us of sights we were seeing, but all in all it was a pleasant experience and the food delicious.

Would have given this s higher rating because the late evening cruise was very nice, tasty meal, Beautiful weather and lovely lights on river
But, was shocked when received bill for wine and they’d added a large extra charge for one of the entree items.
Was told this was dinner cruise and all except beverages were included
Too bad it ended on sour note
