We had an amazing 5 day trip in Indonesia. We started in Surabaya & end in Bail with a very reasonable price. We visited Rainbow village, waterfall,Mt.Bromo ,Mt.Ijen & Bali. It definitely a very long way. Our guide (the driver) Gusti is very helpful , patient & friendly. His driving skill & manner is excellent which is very important specially in Java Indonesia where is mainly hillly/narrow country road. My favorite part of the trip was Mt Ijen Gusti sent us to the starting point at 2pm. After about 2 hrs walk we reached the place where could see the biggest blue fire in the world. No words can describe how amazing it is. We saw the beauty & mystery of nature. Travellers should have this experience once in their life. I highly recommend you to visit Mt. Ijen & Java as well as our best guide/ driver Mr.Gusti. By the way I would like to express my gratitude to Gusti who brought us a most memorable trip.

We are visiting Bali for a relaxing vacation but wanted to see the famous blue fire for a bit of extra adventure - this is the way to do it! A full two day trip with everything organised and taken care of for us.
Gusti took us to many awesome places in North Bali on the way to and from Ijen that we never would have thought to visit otherwise. We thought we were stopping for a quick coffee but it was actually an amazing food forest for harvesting tea, spices and coffee - we even got to try the famous Luak cat-poo-cino!
He is a great guide and knows all the good spots for photos and views, and a great photographer to boot.
The homestay was humble but absolutely beautiful with great dinner and breakfast.
The hike itself is a bit tough but should be completely fine if you have hiking experience. The first part is quite steep but on a good wide path and lots of places to stop for rest. Descent into the crater is rocky and a bit difficult but Rahim made sure we were safe and ok the whole time and even took us on a shortcut around the crowd. They provided torches gas masks and goggles which are a must as you approach the sulfur. The fire is worth every second as is the sunrise views of the crater and neighbouring volcanoes!!
Highly recommend booking this tour! Worth every minute and every cent. Thanks so much Gusti and Rahim!!!

Although the weather wasn’t ideal during our trip, Gusti and Shirley went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with proper rain gear and a hiking pace that fit our fitness level. Gusti’s photo + video taking skills are second to none so you are bound to get the best media content! This tour has been a huge highlight of my Indonesia trip! Thank you for everything!

Gusti is the best driver! If we go to other destinations, we will definitely go with him!
On this tour, the locations are located far from each other, so be prepared. Despite the long journeys, Gusti did everything for our comfort and to reduce travel time! For example, at the Banyuwangi crossing, I agreed with the port employee to take us onto the nearest ferry when there was only enough space for our car)) This way we saved time for rest before climbing Ijen.
In the Bromo Tengger Semeru park, we did not see a panorama from the hill of three volcanoes at dawn, since the weather was cloudy, Gusti suggested going to the following locations, and then, when the sky cleared, he took us to another point (not included in the tour) , where we saw a panorama of volcanoes. We are very grateful!
The hotels on the tour were as close as possible to all the attractions, so getting to the track took a minimum of time, and we reached the panorama of Tumpak Seva on foot in 5 minutes!
The guides on our journey were as sympathetic as possible, actively took pictures of us, and helped us with tracking.

The views were amazing, it is pretty hard hike, but doable.
Our driver was excellent as was the quide.
The homestay was good enough for few hours of sleep and shower afterwards.

Even if March is not the best month to visit Ijen, we had a great experience. Our driver was very professional, friendly and always on time. He also was flexible when we asked him for short stops, to grab a coffee or snacks.
The homestay (although basic) was more than enough to get some rest before the hike, the people there were lovely and we felt welcome.
The hike itself was a bit more challenging than expected, mostly due to the rain and wind.
But we couldn’t have a better guide! Sherly is very experienced. He took as through shortcuts to avoid the "traffic" which made the hike much safer, especially going up from the crater.
He helped my friend and was holding her hand through all the slippery and muddy parts of the route.
We felt safe with him through the whole hike and since he has worked at Ijen also as a miner he knows very much about the area.
In addition to that he is very kind and fun to be around, he took some great pics for us, he’s patient and always adapted to our pace.
And even though we couldn’t enjoy the sunrise cause of the weather conditions, Sherly made our hike/climb an amazing experience! 10/10

PS: be sure to wear hiking shoes with decent grip, especially in the rainy season.

We had an amazing trip to Mount Ijen. It was way more than we anticipated or expected. Quite a challenging climb but Breathtaking views; Serly was fantastic , really helpful and super informative and he went out of his way to get us the best photo shots possible. Clearly he has done the hike many times and knows the best routes to go. We felt safe in his hands and he made the trip even better than it could have been.
