Part of the reason Maui has been so popular year after year is due to the breathtaking sunsets. Sure you could just watch from the beach or your hotel lanai, but a front row seat out on the water, sipping some cocktails, enjoying some awesome pupus (appetizers) and hanging with fun people sounds more appealing. Whale watching is included from Dec 15th - April 15th!

Thanks to the crew who worked this cruise for us - They were enthusiastic, energetic, engaging and entertaining! Although we didn't see any whales or sunsets (overcast conditions), the crew kept us entertained throughout and the time just flew by! Thank you so much for waiting for our group to arrive, even though we arrived at in the area 45 MINUTES EARLY, to say parking was a challenge would be a HUGE understatement!

Amazing sunset cruise on Christmas eve. The crew was stellar - lots of whales and a lovely time! A must do! The crew even gave our daughter a special lei for her 21st birthday.

Our family spent Christmas Eve on this cruise with the most amazing crew. We saw lots of whales and the food was really good:) We always had a drink in our hand as well! Highly recommend Sea-Maui!

Unfortunately our 4:30pm sunset cruise was cancelled as we all waited for our departure time. The operator said the wind/waves were too strong to safely load the boat from the beach - which is very understandable. However, we did watch the 4:00pm dinner cruise load from the same spot just 30 minutes previously -- but better safe than sorry. The staff processed our refund on the spot and the whole ordeal was handled very efficiently.
I was rather disappointed since we had travelled 45 minutes from Kihei to Kaanapali for the cruise and we ended up parking in the wrong garage which cost us $45. We had a hard time finding the correct entrance to the Whaler's Village and ended up at the Westin which was right next door. GPS navigation got us close but didn't show us which garage to park at. Departure point/check-in was exactly as described - just make sure you read the directions carefully. It's a little kiosk (shack) on the boardwalk and is easy to miss if you're not looking for it.
But, all was not lost -- we were able to get great seats at Leilani's Restaurant and watched the sunset safely from land while sipping on cocktails.

The crew was super fun and friendly and make the trip wonderful! The captain (Nick) was very funny and personable and did a wonderful job navigating to find some whales for us! We got to see them up close and personal. The other crew members worked very hard to make sure no one ever had an empty drink and no one ever needed a thing. It was a great trip, highly recommend!

My wife and I were very impressed with the Trilogy 2. The seats were comfortable along with a nice table for our sunset cruise dinner. There was very little motion on the boat which made it very comfortable. The dinner was served in courses and the food was tasty. The crew members were very polite and efficient. Sunset was beautiful.
