Our guide, Peter, was fantastic and combined the tours very nicely.
He was kind and thoughtful to keep a good portion of the tour out of the cold weather that we had on the day of the tour.

Happy we paid to do the expensive private tour on Christmas Day. Interesting and knowledgeable guide. Very structured tour with rigid timelines however. Showed some flexibility when we had an extra 15-20 minutes to visit Maria Plain church. I’m such a Sound of Music fan and have wanted to visit the Salzburg sites since I was 5. Would have like just a little more time to soak in the stories but the tour is a very strict 4 hours.

David our private tour guide was fantastic! His love and knowledge of the sound of music is incredible. I would highly recommend his tour! We had seven people in our group which made it perfect for the van ride. The views are so stunning in person. The private tour flexibility allowed us to spend our desired time at each stop and enjoy every second of this amazing tour. In addition, there are a few expectations we would have liked to know prior: you cannot go inside Abbey or Von Trapp house, gazebo is part of the tour but not original, and the Austrian Alps get dark quick in December. We were able to save time by private tour drive up service to many spots.

I would recommend this tour! I learned a lot of the "behind the scenes" and got to see some really gorgeous viewpoints along with movie locations. And I would say the private tour was worth the extra money for the comfort.
Richard was our tour guide and he was excellent!!

Highlight of our Salzburg trip. We were a pty of 8 and booked a private tour e clusive to us. Each one enjoyed the tour, and our driver/guide Johansen was very knowledgeable, a pro and very pleasant. Hope you get him on your excursion.

This tour was 'simply the best'!
The tour guide, (2pm tour Saturday 21/10) was fun, informative & very engaging with the group. The tour is so detailed..the weather was perfect, the bus is very comfy, the microphone speaker is clear to hear even seated right at the back of the bus. I thoroughly recommend doing this tour.
