Our adventure begins when we pick you up at your hotel in our comfortable passenger van. (Please note pick up will be ONLY in La Fortuna area hotels;. The pick up time depends on the Hotel location).
Then we travel to our private farm located next to the Arenal Volcano and National Park where you will have wonderful views of the biodiversity of the area. Here you will be introduced to our professional bi-lingüal guide who will give you all the information you will need to begin your adventure.
You will start out in open plans where you can warm up with your quad. Our farm is located between the Arenal Volcano and Arenal Lake. You will enjoy during 2 hours driving through the rain forest and mountains, you can have a look on the impact craters of the last eruption in 1968, next, you will go to the shallow water rive to the volcanic mud for a facial mask and finally have a great view to the Arenal Lake.

We did a number of adventures while in Costa Rica, and the kids and I agree this was our FAVORITE!! Andres was our guide, and as unassuming as he seemed, he was super cool and so kind! Safety was always his first priority, which made me feel more comfortable since my 13 yr old was driving an ATV solo. The views are breathtaking! And getting super muddy was part of the fun!! Would recommend to anyone!

They were very informative, and we got to take water breaks and take a few pictures ! You have to do the clay mask! It’s a must and a GREAT experience !! It wasn’t too hard at all, beginners could do this too, our friend has never rode one before ! Great great experience and got muddy!!

This was a fun way to get muddy! :) The guide was great and he took us to a river where we could apply a volcanic mud face mask about halfway through the tour. The only downfall was some of the ATVs needed to be swapped around well into our journey due to issues. All in all, a great time though!

Highlight of our trip! Two of us had never ATV’d and we loved it. We went at a good pace and never felt in danger. The route is beautiful; I loved the jungle, the cows, and views of the volcano. We stopped at a river halfway and put on clay masks. The guide was great.

This was a great experience. Our guide, Andres was friendly and thorough with his instructions. The course, in general, is easy and fun. My 13 year old who had never driven an ATV before did fine. Our younger ones rode with us parents and were absolutely fine - just request the doubles for riding tandem. Navigating the bumpier parts for her were not that challenging but the terrain was challenging enough to give even experienced riders a good time. It started raining a bit but that made the experience that much more unique. Andres stopped our group after hearing a howler monkey, found the monkeys and pointed them out to the group. We got picked up from The Springs Resort and it was an easy 10 minute ride to the experience. Definitely worth your money if you’re in the La Fortuna area.

Super fun experience….the trails were just muddy enough not to intimidate the newbies, but big enough for a good splash! Unfortunately, I couldn’t seem to upload our fun photos. Thanks, Andrés!!!

Fun time! Definitely needs upgrades. Helmets were super old and smelled. ATVs were fun but well used and all said needed maintenance, one even broke down during ride. Would be more fun with less than 12 people and not stopping and waiting every few mins. Was fun terrain for beginners or intermediate wanting to do puddles and roads. Guide was very friendly. My daughter really enjoyed herself.

It was a lot of fun. We rode the ATV's through the mud, up and down hills. My wife, me 3 teenagers and myself really enjoyed it.

Fun ride around in some mud and streams for the first portion. You also get onto some paved road as well and can open up a bit. Machines were in great shape, all decently new Hondas - they have larger and smaller ones depending on your size. We saw a sloth up close and stopped for a monkey also. Guide was really friendly. You finish the ride at the top of a climb and get a great view of the volcano (clouds will always be a factor). About 2.5 hours of riding with a break at a nice river. Would recommend if you want to see a lot while in a cool way at a reasonable cost.
