My husband and I had an amazing time on this tour. We ate to so many different foods and went to places that we never would have found on our own. Our guide even gave us tips on what to look for in a good Thai restaurant. We loved it.

What a great day we had with Fon and Mikey! They took us to places we wouldn’t have ever found and taught us so much about Thai history and culture as they introduced us to an amazing array of foods. The pace was just right and we especially enjoyed all the modes of transportation: khlong boat, bus and tuk tuk. We did the tour on our first full day in Bangkok and it was a perfect introduction to the city. Highly recommended!

If you like Asien food, this tour is a must. Johnny and Meiki our guides obviously know every familiy run streetfood business in the old town of Bangkok. Besides the food (we had 21 different dishes) you learn to use boats and buses for public transportation, what a tuk-tuk really should cost and lots of interesting facts and figures about the city. Excellent value for money.

Our tour guide was Johnny and his assistant was Mikey. They were both excellent. We tasted great tasting food at a lot of hole-in-the-wall places off the beaten path. Some of the food was fairly unusual, which outside of the food tour would be hard to find on your own. Johnny provided interesting commentary on the food and the cooks along the way; many of the latter were generations of cooks, with recipes and techniques handed down from parents to children.
The end point of the tour is aways off from the starting point, but the walking route was not that long because we also took a canal boat, a vintage bus (with a wooden floor!), and tuk tuks to get around.
The tour promised help at the end of the tour to get a taxi back to our hotel and this turned out to be very helpful because three candidate taxi drivers refused to take us before a fourth one agreed.

I loved everything about this tour. Our guides were amazing, full of knowledge and always wanting us to get the most of our tour. I counted way more things we tasted than the blurb said - you will definitely not be hungry at the end of the tour. They were all wonderful and different and our guides provided additional insight into the dishes, the people making them and how Thai people like to enjoy them. Would recommend this to anyone. Have signed up for 3 more A Chef's Tour tours and can't wait.

Such a great tour. Our Guide Ant was amazing as she lead us around to different stops to sample many different foods. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to sample many different cuisines. All food, transportation, and water was included in the cost.

We had a great time on this tour. Loved the history behind the areas we went to and the many different stalls we ate at. It was a lot of food but you wanted to taste everything! It was a great variety. We loved Fon! She is a great guide with so much information, and a fun personality to match.
I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends. In fact, I have already!!

I was a bit wary of so many fantastic reviews (are the reviews for real?) but booked the tour anyway. After taking the tour I can say, 'yes' the reviews are real. It was the best outing we had in Bangkok -- small group, great tour guide, interesting places to eat that you would never find yourself, unique and excellent food, plenty of bottled water, the pacing of the tour was well planned, different types of transportation used, and outstanding descriptions of how the food is made. No doubt, I hightly recommend this tour.
