Guide was very knowledgeable. Spoke very fast for midwestern English speakers. Guide seemed very respectful of entire group and stamina. The tour could have incorporated the US federal sites close by as well as the save a gato building and pigeon park. I would recommend this company make NAI certification a requirement for employment. One thing that he could have warned us about is how there is cat poop everywhere that has a lingering smell throughout the whole city.

Our amazing tour guide was named Juan Carlos (CJ). There are so many great things I can say about him. So I will make a list.
1) A couple of hours before the tour he sent me a text message with where to meet and places to eat or pre sight see in the area.
2) It started raining an hour prior to the tour and I called to ask if tour was still going on. He was polite an informed me that he was keeping up with the weather and he would notify me if it was cancelled.
3) We had Uber cancel on us and I had to call him to say we would be late. Very understanding.
4) We had a party of 7. Part of us arrived on time and other half were about 8 minutes late because of Uber. He welcomed us and we were able to jump right in tour with no problem.
5) JC was very knowledgeable about the history. He sparked my interest on learning more about the island.
6) He learned the names of all the people on the tour and addressed us personally throughout the tour.
7) We had a light rain shower (lasted about 5 minutes) during tour and he “timed” the tour just right so that we could be under shelter while still continuing with his tour.
8) After tour was over he gave us great ideas for places to eat and even walked us there.
9) He also told me I could call him when returning to Puerto Rico or if I know someone who may be visiting. He would share any info needed.
Best tour guide I have ever had It did not sound scripted and boring. I enjoyed listening to his accent and blending English and Spanish to help us understand words that had Spanish origin. I still could understand and figure out things he was saying.
Juan Carlos was very friendly and a great pleasure to meet! You will not be disappointed.

Juan Carlos was our guide and he is fabulous! You get tons of information in this two hour tour. Money very well spent! JC was awesome about keeping us entertained and finding us shade to hang out in, on a warm day in PR. Thank you!

The walking tour was such a great way to see all the highlights & gems of Old San Juan. Our tour guide, Juan Carlos, was knowledgeable, friendly & had an apparent love for his job. I definitely recommend this tour to anybody who wants to learn about Old San Juan - and get some good pictures along the way.
(One little suggestion: a round of intros before the tour starts so that the group knows where others are visiting from)

We were in San Juan as part of a cruise. Since this was our first visit to San Juan we chose to take a guided walking tour of the city. We met our tour guide Juan Carlos at 9AM at the fountain in Plaza Colon, a 5 minute walk from the ship. There were 8 people total on this tour. Juan Carlos was excellent, providing a lot of historical information about the city. He moved at a pace that was comfortable for everyone and he tried to keep us in the shade as much as possible. He also learned everyone's name and talked to each of us during the tour. We saw all the main sites including Castillo San Cristobal, Castillo San Felipe del Morro, Capilla del Cristo, Santa Maria Magdalena cemetery, Casa Blanca, Cathedral de San Juan, La Fortaleza, Puerta de San Juan and other sites as well. We did not go into the two forts but we did go into the Cathedral and other places. The tour ended near La Fortaleza and lasted 2.5 hours. This tour was well worth the money.

Guillermo was an exceptional guide. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour through Old San Juan. We would definitely recommend this tour.
