We took the 13 passenger Circle Tour. We really enjoyed it. We had several stops such as a blowhole where waves splash up through a hole in the rocky shore. We visited the beach where “From Here to Eternity” was filmed and Also drove by the location where Jurassic Park was filmed. We also saw Keanu Reeves home and the home of relative and body double of Dwayne Johnson, The Rock which on occasion, The Rock has been seen visiting.
We saw the famous North Shore of surfing fame and visited a Macadamia Nut plantation as well as the Dole Pineapple Plantation and a Buddhist Temple.
Overall, the 8 hour trip was very interesting and enjoyable and our tour guide was fun, knowledgeable and a safe driver.

I am so happy that I picked this tour. I read all the reviews of other tours, booked 2, cancelled 2 and decided on this one. Ryan, our guide also the owner was so engaging, entertaining and attentive. He made sure he got everyone's name right. He ordered lunch for us ahead of time (other tours were lining up to buy lunch). The tour is 10 hours, we went everywhere! Book this tour! I highly recommend it.

Other than the scenery, the best part of our experience was our guide, Tyrone. He was personable, friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We appreciated his personal experiences related to living in Hawaii. He also provided excellent tips on places to visit on our own. It made the tour a wonderful experience for us. The tour itself was well organized. It had a flow that was enjoyable. The stops were timed appropriately, and we didn't feel rushed. Our only concern was the van was not as comfortable as we would prefer. The seats were a bit cramped and exiting the van was sometimes a challenge.

We had such a great time on this tour! It is an excellent way to see a lot in a short amount of time. Very special kudo to our guide: Anna. She has so much knowledge to share along the drive that time flies. She is also super nice and communicate her passion!

The tour was excellent, and our tour guide Tyron was great!
We were in the 'karaoke' bus, Tryon had us singing along throughout the day.
The tour took us to many of the popular tourist attractions around the island of Oahu.
Highlights included the garlic butter shrimps for lunch as well as Dole plantation and snorkelling at Turtle Bay

Worth the day to see the real island! The guide we had was P.E she was excellent! We saw all the cool sites, also a visit to a private beach resort to snorkel or just to a dip! Saw all historic beaches. Sunset, pipeline, wiamia bay. Some temple which I thought I was in Japan very nice. Also dole plantation. Recommend if you want to see the real island!

The Oahu Circle Tour was enjoyable, as well as our bus driver, Trey. One pain point was the fact that the North Shore (Turtle Bay Resort) stop for snorkeling was not the best place to view turtles, as well as the fact that the weather was overcast and drizzling. This particular stop could've been shortened, if the bus driver would've taken a poll of the passengers to see if they actually were going swimming. I don't think anyone did, and there wasn't much to do at the resort except wander around and kill time. We could've spent that time at the other remaining stops. It would've been nice to have more time at the Dole Plantation and less time at the Macadamia Nut Store. It was very nice with the smaller group.

At 7am we are picked up in front of the hotel today, a rather "old" minibus appears, in which 8 seats are already taken, at least on time and with a good-humored guide/driver, who of course acts as the cheerful sole entertainer during the entire tour. Oh well. The last people are collected and soon the first stop is reached.

What is described in the program as "Diamond Head" - which of course cannot be possible with an allotted stop time of 10 minutes - is just a short stop at a lookout over the sea. Everyone climbs out of the small vehicle, takes a photo, everyone gets back in.

And the whole thing happens again and again with about 6 similar tour buses, large and small, one after the other.

We've already had enough. That was to be expected, but in reality it's just disappointing. Next stop - a "blowhole", no problem.
The third stop, however, is a bit nicer, the view over the lava coast is really great and there is even a little time to climb a few steps up the coast.

We head north along the coast, some very beautiful, especially completely deserted beaches can be seen and slowly more and more of these plush green rugged mountain ranges that look quite magical, sometimes a hazy mist rolls over the peaks, beautiful scenery.

The one really nice stop of the whole tour was at the Byodo-In Temple (Valley of Temples), where there was plenty of time. But my heart kept bleeding on the way, only being able to see this wonderful mountain scenery as we drove past through reflective glass, how I would have loved to just get out here.

Although we have been back at the hotel for less than an hour now - it is 5 o'clock in the afternoon - I have almost forgotten the rest of the "highlights".

There was a lunch break at one of the hyped shrimp trucks on the "North Shores" (pay extra, 20 USD per person), then we were released for an hour on a not so beautiful, and above all not deserted, beach. It was called Turtle Beach, but had nothing to do with the famous beach where you can actually see Honus. There was a large resort here, as annoying as a UFO, right in the middle of the pretty bay, green lawns in front of nice condos. OK, of course you can chill here for an hour, but we had expected much more from that. The swimwear we had brought with us could safely stay in our bags.

Then the route continued - past the "real" Turtle Beach and other very pretty beaches, south again.

Mandatory point of all tours: shop of a macadamia nut plantation, mandatory point: Dole pineapple plantation, or the large gift shop.

Well, that's it.

The rest of the journey was then on the motorway through the interior of the island, not very spectacular, and there was slow-moving rush hour traffic around Honolulu and in and around the hotel zone.

In the end, it wasn't soooo bad overall, the fellow travelers were a colorful mix from the States, the driver was sometimes entertaining for us too, but I'm still annoyed because we let ourselves be seduced again, hoping that in the end it might be better than expected.
