Head to the country side of Oahu's West coast where years of minimal development helped to bolster and maintain a flourishing abundance of marine life, coral reefs, and clear water. We visit areas frequented by pods of dolphins and turtles and many other sea life. Humpback whales migrate here annually from Alaska during our winter months of November and April putting on a show for our guests. Snorkel in the warm, crystal clear blue waters that you've seen in movies then enjoy a prepackaged Hawaiian meal on us.

Travel by our complimentary round trip transportation from Waikiki on a comfortable air-conditioned motor-coach to the marina where you will board our 61-foot (18.5-meter) Kai OliOli catamaran for your 3.5-hour cruise. You can choose from three departure times — morning, afternoon, or sunset — to suit your schedule. Once we depart the marina, we’ll head north along the pristine western coast of Oahu to look for dolphins, whales (seasonal), flying fish, green sea turtles, and admire the beautiful unspoiled scenery. When your captain locates a pod of dolphins or whales, your boat stops to allow you to get an excellent view of the mighty mammals from the spacious deck. Your expert crew can answer any questions that you may have about the animals you see. Afterward, your captain steers the boat into a special spot for snorkeling. We provide your snorkel gear and detailed safety and snorkeling instructions. We have a roomy, comfortable sitting area with wide steps to allow you to comfortably put your gear on and easily wade into the water. Once in, marvel at colorful corals and multitudes of fish for an hour of snorkeling with guides available to assist you with fish identification and safety. Back on the boat, you can rinse off in one of the boat’s four warm, freshwater showers. Two changing rooms and restrooms are also available. Once the snorkelers return to the boat, the crew serves a sumptuous Hawaiian buffet that includes teriyaki chicken, kalua pig (pulled pork), tossed salad, rice and fresh fruit along with your choice of beer, wine, mai tai, or margarita (up to four alcoholic drinks included). As you enjoy your meal, we begin a leisurely cruise back to the marina. Throughout the cruise Throughout the tour, we serve unlimited bottled water and soft drinks while your captain and crew share the history and legends of the Waianae Coast. A professional photographer takes photos both above and under water which you have the option to purchase back at the dock before you depart.

This was such an amazing experience!!! By far the best catamaran cruise we have been on! Staff were so friendly, accommodating, funny, experienced, etc. Everything from the time we got there, to the ride/views, to the snorkeling, and last the food was absolutely on point! Please do yourself a favor if you are considering a catamaran experience...this was WAY WORTH YOUR MONEY!

My wife, he sister and brother in law took our moms on this trip. They loved it, and one of them gets nervous about water. They both had so much fun and got to see dolphins!

Our crew was the BEST! We were in good hands with Captain Jerry leading us and his crew Jayden, Elijah, and Mani. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, they made this one of my favorite snorkel cruises I’ve been on. We saw Spinner Dolphins, Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, and a ton of fish, and coral varieties on the reef. After snorkeling, we had the tastiest Hawaiian buffet meal with plenty of food and drinks! Capt Jerry also pointed out various landmarks along the way with a bit of Hawaiian history thrown in for good measure. Definitely request this crew if you plan this adventure!

Our first time in Hawaii, and we chose this catamaran ride purely by review! IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! What an awesome crew, food, snorkeling... everything! The crew made my snorkeling experience WAY BETTER than I had a few years ago in Mexico. I was super nervous, but the crew got me settled in and I was very grateful! PLEASE give this catamaran excursion a whirl if you're looking around... you will have so much fun!!

Very attentive staff from beginning to end. Very helpful with myself and a first timer snorkeling person learned home to do it and was relaxed the whole time in the water . Never felt rushed. Food was great and plenty to go around even seconds

We have done many snorkel treks in Hawaii and our Ocean Joy Morning snorkel sail from the Ko Olina resort (April 2024) was one of the best. Catamaran was in great shape, tasty morning snack (poi bread pudding), excellent lunch buffet (kalua pig, teriyaki chicken, salad, fruit, rolls), plenty of beverages, friendly and helpful crew. Our one hour snorkeling offshore from the Hawaiian Electric Kahe Power Plant didn't have a lot of fish on our day, but we saw two large sea turtles. Its a bit pricey like the others, but we would highly recommend and would do this again.

Lots of fun! It was a very well planned day. The boat and crew were fabulous, weather was perfect for being on the water. We really enjoyed the boat ride, snorkeling and lunch - all were excellent!
