I recommend coming here with friends or family, it's really fun!! let alone swimming in the sea of Nusa Penida. For those who can't swim, don't worry, because there are guides who will keep you safe and wear life jackets too. Anyway, it's safe

Bali really has a really healing vibe, suitable for rupiah slaves who need to wash their eyes and refresh their brains. The view of Nusa Penida beach is as expected, beautiful like the photo taken hehe🏞

This snorkeling tour provides an incredible experience. Witnessing manta rays at Manta Bay is the highlight. The guides are very friendly and helpful, making me feel safe throughout.

The trip overall was good but the whole day felt very rushed. Our driver had been given the wrong hotel address so we got picked up 40 minutes late after waiting since 0615. The boat to and from Nusa Penida had 150 people on it and was very stuffy inside, particularly when people started getting seasick! Sadly no manta rays but the rest of the snorkelling was very good. There are only 3 snorkelling stops, not 4, and you get around 20mins at each one. I would recommend bringing your own snorkel if you have one as the ones provided were leaky. Lunch was basic but yummy. The island tour was the most disappointing bit for me - we spent many hours being driven around very narrow bumpy roads to spend very little time at the viewpoints. It was a case of get out the car, take photos, get back in the car. The walk around broken beach was better though and we got to see a turtle swimming from the island! Overall, there seem to be too many tourist companies and therefore too many people and vehicles for you to actually enjoy the natural beauty of this fantastic place.

The place is really recommended, very comfortable, suitable as a tourist destination with the family. We were presented with beautiful snorkeling views on Nusa Penida Island and the sea, lots of stingrays, made our family want to go back to Nusa Penida.

It was nice to have snorkeling in the morning. However, the island tour in the afternoon was a bit in a rush. We just had maybe 10 -15 mins to takes a few photos in each spot. Having said that, it is still a good idea to explore the island the first time.

All staff at El Rey were amazing. Very polite very organised. Great tour. Would highly recommend. Lunch was great. Roads at time a little rough but the driver was excellent.

I think tourists have ruined the travelling thing for everyone else with the Instagram, influencer stuff. The locals and companies think we're all the same. So what I can tell you if you want to see Penida, stay there with a vehicle or a private driver don't book a 10 hour visit. Your time will be in majority waiting, travelling by boat and car. The visit at all is 2 hours of snorkeling and half hour of sightseeing. We were picked up at 7am and the boat at Sanur Pier was at 9AM, we arrived at 9h30 at Nusa Penida, waited for instructions and the gear to enter to another boat for snorkeling at the 3 in our case 4 snorkeling points. We went exactly to the same points we've already went when we stayed at Nusa Lembongan but it was less crowded and we saw one manta when we did it before. The water was full of trash this time maybe because it rained a lot the day before. Then 2 hours later back to the pier take a fast shower change clothes and go for a 45 mn car transfer to the restaurant. Food wasn't bad and service was fast. It was in the middle of nowhere but near by car from Kilingking cliff. It's a bumpy ride over and over the guide is hurried because you will have to board at 5PM to get back to Sanur. It's not their fault they think we only there to take a photo ( instagramable) and not look and absorb the view. At a certain point, I had to stop the guide and tell him I didn't wanted more photo l wanted to look at the view. He smiled at me as if it was the first time he hear something like that. And then we stoped for a few minutes to look and explained to me some things about the place. But as I said. I blame the modern world of showing where you've been instead of enjoying where you've been. You should try to make a shorter tour with " no photos, just enjoy the place" although it will be difficult since when you're there you will see the typical dressed " influencers" waiting and hoarding the place for a long time. Not even looking to the surrounding.
