This was a blessing to be able to get a small glimpse of the Northern Lights. When tracking the activity via the “Aurora” app, we decided to book this tour to assist in seeing the Northern Lights away from the Downtown Reykjavik light pollution. And with the activity at 4 that night, we saw it through the clouds…..the bright green light. Very comfortable coach bus transportation and prepare for a lot of driving around for the best spots. This tour group will travel to locations found by others confirming sites of the Northern Lights versus others that may not.

The worst experience ever I was told we will go to more than one spot to find the northern lights. We went to one spot which was right next to light house and wasted time there. Then we went bk to hotel. They didn’t take us to any other spots.

If you have the option to go on a boat tour on a cloudy night, DO THAT!
The hosts cannot control the weather, but they could have been a little more optimistic.

What a horrible, tourturous tour. We drove around for 1 hour only to be let out of the bus for 1 hour to try to see the lights. A terrible mass-system where they try to squeeze all the tourists into 10 big buses to only drive them around for hours. After they let us out for 1 hour, they made us go back in the bus and dove us around for 3 more hours! With no oxygen left in the bus, the bad smell and intense humid, as well as the bad driving the conditions were simply inhumane. All the while they woudn't communicate anything clearly to us. How frustrating it was to hear that other people saw the nothern lights on the same night me and my partner had to go through that torture. I do not recommend this tour to anyone. What a disaster.

3/4 of the time wasted on the bus.
About 6 bus full of people.
We stopped for 30 mins in the middle of a secondary road where some car were moving on the street
After 45 mins by bus we stopped and remained on the bus for 10 mins. No one went off and we went back to Reykjavík due to the rainy conditions.
Waste of time more than 3 ours passed on the bus and money on the basis of the organization of the tour.
Last thing, on the different apps used to share pictures of auroras and tips on where to find it, we were on the opposite places where it was spotted. Probably we had better chances to look at it by ourselves.
On the other hand the organization gave us a second opportunity to do the tour.

12 buses absolutely packed with people. Tour guide was abrupt and dismissive. when loading the buses. Guide wasn’t informative. Parked up on a road to try and see the lights only a small amount of room either side of the bus, drove over a hour to another location where we was told we was unable to get off the bus only to drive back. Tour still went ahead when the sky was cloudy. For the amount we paid to be rammed in a bus for 4.5 hours wasn’t worth it. No toilet stops or breaks whilst being pregnant when children was also on the bus.
Not impressed! Seems like it was all for the money taking advantage of the new year backlog of tourists.

This tour was not well ran at all. There were 12 buses filled with people trying to travel all together to see the lights.
The skies were not good for seen the lights but they took us out anyways. 4 hours later we only saw a tiny spark. Really they should have cancelled the tour. I highly recommend doing a small tour for the northern lights.
