3/29 Nice to have someone do the drive up to this area the last part of the road is a little messy and not for everyone’s driving skills. We had a nice van that stayed heated so we could get in and out. The viewing area is large and open and was our best view of the lights we have had on trip. It is a busy location so be prepared for people to be coming and going and not being super thoughtful with their headlights. My husband is a photographer and was able to still get good shots. It was a beautiful view and we enjoyed the booking.

Joe, our tour driver, did a good job - but Murphy Dome is TOO busy with way TOO many cars in and out with their lights on. Select another place for viewing the aurora!

We had such fun! Our guide was very knowledgeable and eager to help. A couple got engaged and he helped get the perfect pics! He also helped my with my cámara to get great pics. Thanks!

Paid $120 per person to have someone drive us up a public road to a crowded parking lot we could have driven to ourselves. Sit silently in a van for six hours. Description says guide will share history of the AF station and info about the aurora... nope! Our guide barely spoke, didn't know what the AF station was. Description says drinks and snacks - no snacks and avoid the drinks because there's no bathrooms. Better to drive yourself.

Our tour guide Ryan was awesome! Funny, knowledgeable and helpful and he made sure we were able to see the most for what we paid for.

The tour was great! The guide super supportive, although the vehicle that took us was super old and not comfortable, and the way back to the hotel the driver was “aggressive” (excessive speed, not stop in bumps)

This was an experience of a lifetime! Seeing the aurora borealis in full splendor in Murphy Dome was indeed a gift from God. Fantastic is an understatement. Our driver & guide, Joe, was superb. He took care of us, made sure we didnt have any accidents in the snow & knew when and where to look! The van was comfortable & safe even when we went up ot down some altitude.

Excellent from first meeting with Joe our driver/ guide. He was enjoyable and enjoyed sharing his local knowledge.
The warming yurts were invaluable. Some guests had preordered dinner and it looked great. The lights made an early spectacular showing and then drifted in and out. Great first time viewers. Can’t wait until tomorrow night

Our guide was Jake he was very helpful share how to spot the northern lights helped us with our camera so we could get better pictures.
I must say that both Jake and Ryan are very good drivers enjoyed it very much.
