We loved our trip with Leona as our guide and Brahmin (sp?) for our driver. While the days were busy due to many stops, we enjoyed not having to worry about driving and directions. The two hotels were good and the meals (dinner first night and two breakfasts) were good enough for us. This tour was the highlight of our trip to France.

We were on the trip with guide Leila and driver Bryan. They were a great duo, very entertaining, and made everything as easy as possible. It covers a lot of territory and history in a short amount of time. Perfect when you want to see as much as possible. Leila was extremely knowledgeable.

We booked this trip several months in advance as it hit many of the items we wanted to see during the month of July. Both our guide and driver were excellent.the The highlight was by far Mont Saint Michel however the drive to Angers afterwards was a bit long and a stop along the way would have helped( water, facilities break). The Loire Valley was also nice yet we would have preferred to skip Langeais (nothing wrong with the castle or the village) to spend more time at Chenonceau and Chambord..

Our guide and driver were great. Professional while still sensitive to the group. We were on a packed scheduled but it seldom seemed rushed and we left each site feeling like much, if not all of the important things were covered.

If you want to spend lots of time in these locales, then this is not the tour! But if seeing sites from 3 provinces while covering lots of ground is a goal, then this works. No visit to Angers chateau, no lunch included in Chenonceau, but excellent hotels and marvelous guide & driver.

This was a great tour with a few hiccups.
Pros: The tour guide was wonderful. She knew her stuff and gave us a lot of information. The sites we visited were amazing. I could have done without the third day which was the Loire valley but that is just my personal taste. I prefer Versailles and Fontainebleau.

Hiccups:
For a “ luxury” tour the AC was awful on the bus and it is July! We asked multiple times to have it adjusted but there is only so much the bus driver and guide can do. It is the tour company’s responsibility to make certain their “ luxury “ buses are functional in 100 degree heat.
The second hotel we stayed at had AC issues as well. Many rooms did not have functional AC at the second hotel.
Lastly just fyi if you have any mobility issues this tour may not be for you. There is a tremendous amount of walking and several people just sat out a few of the activities due to their inability to climb the stairs or walk certain distances.
Overall it was a nice trip and a great way to see this amazing region of France. I just wish the AC had been working better. It made for some uncomfortable bus rides and the one night at the hotel.
Hope this helps!

Knowledgeable tour guides, tour stayed on schedule, tour company handled all details. Would recommend the hotel pickup-drop off option.

We visited so many beautiful and historical sites during our tour. We were lucky to have a small group (13 people). I was very satisfied with the hotels, which were clean and quiet. Our guide, Veronica, was very knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with. I felt we had enough time to visit the various locations on our own time in the majority of our stops. The only place I would have liked to have had more time in was Saint-Malo. I am very pleased with my experience! I would recommend visiting the château in Amboise, which was an option during our free time in Amboise.

Efficient use of time to see as many important sites as possible. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Hotels were utilitarian, but clean, comfortable with adequate breakfast. Only one dinner included. Buses were clean, modern, and comfortable. Chateaux not castles in the usual sense. Wine tasting was fun, but only three pours (red, rose, white)
