Our day with Hugo was the highlight of an amazing two week family trip to France, Switzerland, and Italy. Hugo is an engaging, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and passionate guide. He helped us design a perfect day, including meeting us at the train station and delivering us to the Bayeux Museum at the end of the day where we saw the Bayeux Tapestry right before the museum closed (highly recommended). We designed a one day tour, leaving Paris by train in the morning and returning the same night, including a lunch at a great restaurant. We will never forget our day with Hugo. Everything about the experience was first rate, including the bikes which were of the highest quality. We will definitely do this again someday in the future. Thank you Hugo!

My daughter and I are traveling to visit places that a dear family friend and WWII veteran had been. We scheduled this tour for our fist full day in Normandy to get a feel for the place. This tour was far more than we expected!! Riding a bike through the beautiful countryside gave us time to reflect on the events of the 1940s. Seeing the places and hearing the perspective from our guide, Hugo, was something you can't get from a book or movie. Seeing the American cemetary and Omaha beach was incredible. Our guide shared meaningful stories, and we learned a lot! Its obvious that Hugo is passionate and skilled at leading this tour.

This was hands down the best activity/adventure that we did while on our vacation this month. It was the perfect way to view the Normandie beaches and experience the countryside. Thank you Hugo! You were a spectacular host and so wonderful to work with. I greatly appreciate your communication, set-up beforehand, and for the knowledge you shared while on the trek. Everything about Petite Reine was seamless and easy (which I love!). It was the most special experience, totally unforgettable. My kids are still talking about it. Much gratitude!

My family and I had a fantastic e-bike tour with Hugo during our recent visit to Normandy. Hugo is incredibly knowledgeable and made sure that all of us were riding the top quality bikes and were doing so safely. We got a deep level of understanding about what happened on DDay and had an incredible ride through beautiful Normandy. I highly recommend reaching out to Hugo if you are heading to Normandy!

We did the Overlord tour and it was fantastic, would recommend to anyone interested in visiting a D-Day site while also seeing the beautiful Norman countryside! Hugo provided context for each stop we visited: Omaha Beach, American Cemetery and German Defenses. He helped us arrange lunch in a beautiful seaside town (Port-en-Bessin-Huppain), and pointed out local sights that we passed throughout our ride. We felt like we had not only a better understanding of the events of D Day but an appreciation for the area by the end of our tour.

We had an amazing three days on E Bikes with Hugo, owner of Petite Reine! He made it a priority to learn our preferences and was attentive to all our needs. We trusted him fully and felt safe to ride and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Hugo made it fun and informative. His expertise comes from being a native to the area and his wide range of contacts. We highly recommend Hugo! Look no further!!!

We had a great day with Hugo. He is an excellent guide. The route he has planned out goes through the country side all the way to beach. The bikes he supplied were in great shape and perfect for our ride. It was fun talking to Hugo as we rode so he could share his knowledge of the area.

What a great day! Hugo is a fantastic, knowledgeable passionate guide who went over and above to make the tour one to remember. Cycling on e-bikes was a great way to see the countryside and easily get to the sites.

Our guide on this private tour for the two of us was Hugo. Could not have asked for a better guide. He was thoughtful, knowledgable and articulate.
The loop route is beautiful (we rode it in mid March) through various types of farmland and through small villages, along paved and fine gravel roads, and of course to D-Day sites.
I would recommend a moderate level of bike fitness as it is a long trip, although mostly flat and the e-bike helps of course with hills. Hugo kept up an easy pace.
We had a wonderful afternoon.
