Tour of Normandy was wonderful. The guides knowledge of Normandy was fantastic however the guide himself was inappropriate with his stories and “humor”. Would not want his as a guide again.

Sid was an excellent tour guide!!! Didn’t get to walk on Omaha Beach or take great pictures at American cemetery due to preparations for 80th Anniversary celebration. Still glad we had the opportunity to see what we did! Bus windows were smudged and crumbs on food tray and crooks and crannies. Wish the bus had been cleaner.

We had a fabulous trip with our guides Daniel and John. They did a great job of explaining not only the landing at Normandy but what led up to it and why it was important for winning the war.

Very good tour and tour guide for our first trip to Normandy. The bus was comfortable and had a toilet on board if needed. We made a quick rest stop in both directions to pick up coffee, snacks, and use the restroom. And, the tour itself was efficient and informative. Sid was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and helpful, and kept the energy high. Unfortunately, due to the upcoming 80th anniversary, we were unable to stop at Omaha Beach and were interrupted at the American Cemetery memorial area but still managed to see everything we had hoped and planned to. Also, lunch was very good!

What an enjoyable day learning about WWII D-day invasion. It’s one thing to see it in the movies but to actually be there….WOW! Sam and Daniel provided the group with a lot of contexts to the areas we visited. My favorite site was the American Cemetery where we were able to pay our respects to the men who sacrificed so much! .

Ripper tour with even better guides!
John & Daniel were fantastic giving background info & history through engaging story telling which gave a greater understanding as to what we were experiencing; explanations and understandings always make for a deeper experience.
Lunch was also superb and a great point of difference to other DDay tours!

We had a great tour! Our guides, Daniel and John, were personable and knowledgeable. Though the drive was long, it seemed to go quickly and the bus was comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others, especially as survivors of the Normandy invasion are not really around anymore to tell the stories. Seeing the beaches, the bunkers, the museums, and the cemetery was very impactful and moving.

Getting to see a bit of the French countryside and taste the cider of the region was also a nice addition to the trip!

Absolutely worth every penny. Our guides Daniel and John were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about the topic and wonderfully entertaining! They had very different styles but were both great story tellers. Lunch and cider tasting were a great break between sights. This tour was amazing!!
