This experience is awe inspiring and truly Americana at its finest. This is the second time doing this tour; the first time was 20 years ago and this time we brought our 12-year-old son to expose him to this epic time in world history. The tour is long at 12 hours starting at 6:45am at the Trocadéro near then Eiffel Tower, then a 3 hour coach bus tour to Normandy. It’s a lot of effort, but so worth it. Take a day and make this trip. We were lucky to have an extremely knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, Raymond, who explained every stop and monument in great detail. We learned so much, even though we had been here before. We visited Utah Beach and the museum first, then Pointe de Hoc, then a cider tour (I could have done without this stop, but it was fine), then ended at Omaha Beach and the American Cemetary. We walked the sacred grounds and witness the taking down of the American flags while playing TAPS and I cried. We then had a long trip back to Paris on the coach bus and ended back at the Trocadéro in time to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle at 8:00pm. It was wonderful and I highly recommend for any age, but kids age 10+ will appreciate it more than littles. Do this tour.

Had a great tour led by Sid and Raymond who brought a wealth of knowledge and a ton of passion around WWII and the events leading up to D-Day.

The trip makes for a very long day though as you will spend 3 1/2 hours each way getting to Normandy from Paris. Make sure you bring something to keep you entertained on the bus especially if you are traveling with kids.

Our guides (Sid and the other gentlemen) were great, but the drivers were rude. The tour itself was terrific. Wasn't crazy about Sid barking out orders like a military commander. I understand he was joking and playing up the military aspect of the scene, but it didn't seem appropriate.

Great tour. Beautiful and awe-inspiring. It covered many places and the tour guides knowledge (Sid and Raymond!) was excellent. Lunch was good. Cider was good.

bottled water would be a nice addition for long bus rides . Sid did great job explaining the Normandy Beaches by drawing in the sand.

Our tour guide Daniel was amazing. He provided a history lesson about the war, France, D-Day and Normandy. He was engaging and enthusiastic. He struck just the ride mood for the tour, making us all feel welcome and appreciative of the soldiers who fought at Normandy. I highly recommend the trip. The cider farm was my least favorite part and i think the trip would be better without it. Daniel made the trip even more memorable.

Sid was hilarious, he and Raymond also had a lot of wonderful information about each site. Sid also took time to engage our younger boys, and that made the trip very special and enjoyable!
