The animal welfare is one of our top priorities, as everyday of being on the oceans it is not a question of the boat, it is actually the crew and their behaviour towards these magnificent creatures, that is what really matters. The Bahriyeli also have Captains have the full extended licences to be able to go further than 3 miles from the harbour, which is extremely useful when the larger whales come past on their migration, or other species of dolphins, turtles and even sharks. Normally our Short finned Pilot whales is what is seen almost every single day, or our resident bottled nose dolphins. We cannot promise what you will see, but what we can promise and fully guarantee, whatever we see our Captain will not chase, harass or bother them, by respecting them you get so much back, and when a whale or dolphin of its own accord comes to the boat, its an amazing feeling and experience that you will never forget. Very little expanations. Only saw à family of whales. Was expecting a more detailed description and an effort to show dolphins as well.

Fantastic excursion and highly recommend. Wrap up though as once out in the water it can get a little nippy even when the suns out, Definitely recommend

Fantastic trip from start to finish. Very lucky to see pilot whales, dolphins and a turtle. Crew brilliant and very respectful when approaching the animals. Would definitely recommend this trip.

I was joined by my daughter, son-in-law, and 2-year old granddaughter, and a good time was had by all. We were fortunate enough to see a number of pilot whales, but it was the dolphins that put on a spectacular display. We were saw a number of them! Some swam right beside our boat. We saw a mother and a baby swimming side-by-side; and, at one point, five surfaced together. Giorgia was enthralled! I highly recommend this excursion.

As a family of animal lovers we were excited at the prospect of seeing whales and maybe dolphins in their natural habitat. There were so many boats and tours though, with mixed reviews, it was difficult knowing who to go with or if we'd even see anything! This operator was brilliant. A 2hr trip on a nice calm day, we only had to sail out for 25mins or so before we saw the beautiful family of Pilot Whales. First it was just the tips of their black/grey fins but as the crew slowed the boat to a standstill these majestic whales swam and breached right beside the boat. It was a bucket list moment that only cost us 20 Euro each... fabulous! To top it off, on the return journey the crew pointed out a gorgeous sea turtle that popped his head above the water briefly to say hi. The dolphin were more elusive but we did see the fin of a bottle nose swimming beside a fish farming vessel. A perfect way to spend a couple of hrs and I would thoroughly recommend it.

We enjoyed the whale watching trip very much. The crew were very friendly and informative, and also fluent in many languages. We saw a shark then after a bit of patience, saw a large group of pilot whales and calves. The boat was respectful to the group of whales and moved away after everyone on board had plenty of time to see them and take lots of photos. We then sailed to the fish breeding area but weren’t lucky enough to see any turtles on our sailing. We didn’t want a 3 hour trip or to do snorkelling which some of the other companies offer, so it was perfect for us.
