Interesting night time tour to hear about lots of gruesome people. Great views from the castle of night time Budapest. The guide put a lot of effort in to keep us entertained.

Waited in freezing cold with three kids at castle ready for tour then turned up to the meeting point and no guide turned up. Phoned number to be told that the tour we booked on, paid for and got confirmation for was not on. We called the number and were told the tour didn’t exist and could go three hours later or get a refund. If we had been told, we would have changed our plans. Disappointing and badly managed. Waiting for refund.

This is a superb activity if you're looking for something a bit different to do in Budapest. Our tour guide, Joe, was absolutely fantastic. He thrilled us with tales of Hungary's terrifying past whilst also providing historical details and fun facts about the castle district. Joe took his time to ensure that everyone felt welcome and was well looked after. You have the option to take the Funicular to the top of the hill if you'd prefer to skip climbing the steps (which were very manageable) and miss only one story. It was wonderful to see the castle district and the views of the Parliament building lit up at night and a great chance to take photos at a quieter time of the day. The only downside was that our group was quite large, it would have been easier with smaller numbers. A thoroughly fascinating, unique tour which we won't forget!

Joe made it so interesting and brought history and ledgend to life, not great if you have mobility issues there are a lot of steps unfortunately

What a great way to see the views overlooking Budapest and the Danube River. Our guide and story teller, Joe, was amazing. His theatrical presentation and clarity of story telling was truly on point. Our group was very satisfied with this interesting walking tour overlooking the beautifully lit landmarks of the city skyline. Thank you Joe for your care of our group and excellent presentation.

This was a fun, entertaining and informative experience that also offers some exercise as well (lots of stairs in the beginning). Joe was fun to listen to and gave an excellent account in the history of Vampires in Hungary.

Our night time walk in the castle district was great. Our storyteller, Joe, did a fantastic job at telling softies, as well as interacting with our group during our walks.

An absolute delight. Our tour guide Fabian was hilarious and a great storyteller. The stories were great but so was the locations. It was our first night in Budapest and it gave a wonderful view of the castle district at night as well as the city all lit up.
Highly recommended!

Interesting couple of hours wandering the castle district and hearing tales of ancient horrors.
Fabio, our guide, spoke excellent English and did a fantastic job entertaining his reasonable large crowd. As the weather was frightenly cold, audience participation was muted but he drove forward with his spooky yales.
