Excellent foodie tour with Jacob - who seems to personally know every market street vendor. His connections helped us get extra servings of our favourite foods and helped us skip the lines in some of the most popular food stands (Donuts anyone?). With his outgoing personality Jacob also manages to create good connections among the tour participants.

The tour was a highlight of our brief time in Seoul and a fantastic way to get comfortable navigating an open air market.
HaeJi was our guide. She was the perfect person to lead us through the market. My husband and 10 year old daughter came with me. The rest of my group were adults. HaeJi went out of her way to make my kid feel included, even as the adults were learning about drinking culture. HaeJi is a pro, through and through. Bring your open minds, adventuresome palates, and good natured sense of humor for a fun time. Even though I was familiar with the food and the culture, I still learned a lot.

HJ was a great guide. She was informative, organized and very entertaining. We had limited days in Seoul and wanted to experience food here. This was a perfect way to start that and to give us variety and fun packed into a couple of hours in an amazing market.

Jacob was so helpful, polite and nice! He was explaining historical facts, while teaching us korean and all the amazing food! Thanks to him we were able to enjoy our food market tour and learned a lot. Would totally recommend🙌🏻

The Night Market Food Tour was a great way to experience some of the best food Gwangjang Market has to offer. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the foods and the market, and followed up after the tour with a list of the names of the dishes we sampled and group photos from the tour.

One of the best walking food tours I had as an introduction to Korean food. There was ample food to try and lots of different kinds. The guide was very knowledgeable and explained every dish we tried and we even managed to cut the lines as the guide was able to go behind the kitchen to get our food. If you know Korea, you would know that waiting in a line for over half an hour for a snack is not uncommon so knowing how to cut the lines, is pretty impressive.
We finished the tour trying live octopus and learning to drink soju and beer in the right manner.
Totally recommend this tour to anyone in Seoul and anyone who loves food as much as I do.

Jacob was funny, helpful and the perfekt guide!!!! Enough food, enough drinks and so much fun!!!! The group was with 12 person really big, but Jacob handle us perfectly!

Our guide Jacob was excellent. He showed us pretty much everything that a tourist must see in the market.
Food tasting was fun. Alcoholic and non alcoholic becerage tasting was enjoyable. He introduced us to Korean drinking games wich were unusual and enjoyable.

The food variety was excellent and the guide, HaeJi Lee is expert and hilarious. She made the whole food tour memorable. She also explained Korea’s food culture and tradition so well that some terms are still in my head.
