Loved the convenience of pre-buying the tickets and then choosing our own experience. Also loved the discounts! The site was a bit confusing, and then booking the experiences was a little confusing...I had to call customer service to get clarification that not all attractions require reservations. Also the app didn't sync correctly to what was booked and ordered. Other than that, it was easy to use on our phones and no hassle getting into the attractions we wanted to see.

The GoCity app was so easy to use & was very informative & we used the map which was handy. It was easy when making bookings & gaining entry. The choice of attractions was amazing! I would definitely use again & recommend to others.
I’ve just worked out we saved $162 dollars with a 3 day pass. We visited Statue of Liberty & Ellis Isl, One World Observatory, Big bus sightseeing both loops, Top of the Rock, Intrepid aircraft carrier, Edge, & Circle Line Harbour lights Sightseeing cruise. All excellent! We had an amazing time!

I would give 0 stars if I could.
I purchased gocity in New York and the second time using it my google pay was activated and I was charged $63 admission to The Edge.
I immediately contacted Gocity and got no reply. I have contacted them multiple times explaining my story and the reply simply saying they don't refund activated passes. Even though I paid hundreds of dollars for one use it plus the $63 I was charged at The Edge. I was afraid to use the card again as it is a lot of money for me. They ignored my email and I only get "bot" replies rejecting my complaint. My complaint has not been addressed and I have asked for an explanation but I simply get the standard rejection reply over and over. Extremely frustrating.

We had a 3 day pass and unfortunately one of the days in New York had a weather warning ( storms and torrential rain ! ) so we weren’t able to use the pass that day. Go City were FANTASTIC- I rang them up and explained the situation and they took off that day and added a new day in for me instead. They were so friendly and efficient, I didn’t have to worry at all , and it worked out perfectly - Thank you Go City

It’s a Fantastic app. We saved around $200 over the 3 days. We could have squeezed a few more attractions in to make even more savings, but we were shattered . Make sure you plan an itinerary in advance & be aware that some attractions need you to book a time slot. Ps: I fully recommend “ The Edge” we went one hour before closing and it’s was quiet and we walked straight in. The views are the best in the city. A breathtaking 360 degree view of NYC in the evening, through fully glassed walls - even has a part glass floor so you feel you are walking in the air !!!

I purchased 4 x Go City Explorer passes in October ahead of a planned trip to New York with the family in December this year (we fly out on the 22nd).

In early December I started looking at what attractions I could use the Explorer passes, and began building an itinerary.

Some attractions are easy to book, others are not so straightforward, and in the extreme the booking process is fundamentally flawed - the process just doesn't work. Also for some attractions that you book you don't actually receive email confirmation, so it's down to you to remember or write down what you've book, when and at what time!

Take the 9/11 Museum Workshop as an example. On Go City's website they give you the option of sending a WhatsApp message or an email to the Museum in order to make the booking. So, on 3rd December I sent them a WhatsApp message. 4 days went by without reply, so I sent the Museum an email, which to this day has never been acknowledged. After complaining to Go City I started to get some traction and on 7th December a gentleman named Gary reached out to me in reply to my previous WhatsApp messages; he gave me a choice of dates and times. I responded on the 9th and confirmed the date and time of the booking I wanted to make. 11 days have since elapsed, and despite chasers, I have heard nothing more from the Museum by following the process that is documented on Go city's website. I have since complained to Go City, but they are not interested...they have completely ignored my last 3 email contacts requesting assistance. My family and I are due to fly out in 2 days time, and I have absolutely no idea if the booking has been made or not!

I also experienced problems trying to book the Woodbury Tour Bus. When I initially reached to Go City (when they were replying to my emails) they were helpful and made the booking with them for me over the phone, however despite being promised a booking confirmation email, I am yet to receive one. This attraction supposedly comes with a VIP Coupon Booklet that can be used at the designer retail outlet, but the Go City website makes no reference as to how that is redeemed. I have since asked Go City this question, but they are now ignoring my contact so I can't provide an answer on the forum!

This is a tin pot outfit, customer service is poor and the service is clearly outsourced, and now it's got to the point where they are blatantly ignoring me, and they seem perfectly content with that - they don't want to help customers, let alone treating them fairly. They have my money now, and have no interest as to whether you have a good experience or not.

If you're looking to purchase such passes, I would definitely take your business somewhere else, don't risk your trip or pay these cowboys any of your hard earned cash...you will regret it, just like I am right now.

I am now contemplating taking legal action against Go City for breach of contract and anyone out there who has experienced what I have experienced should contemplate doing the same. Email me at ne12@sky.com if you are interested in bringing a class action with me against them.

As a family of 3 we booked a 4 attraction pass for each of us, it seems like a great idea but watch for the pitfalls. With Go City passes you do not get any preferential treatment at attractions, you don't get in any quicker, you still have to queue like everyone else. Don't get me wrong, I queue like everyone, but once you've paid for you pass you are tied into going to the attractions Go City offer. Which brings me to the main pitfall bit.
Should anything go wrong when going to an attraction, for example, it's closed, you're late or bad weather (as in our case) then you can just return at another time, right? No, not in the case of the attractions you have to book. We booked the Empire State Building and turned up at our allotted time to be told by staff there was no visibility so little point in going up. In our busy schedule we did not have time to rebook and revisit.
Because our pass had been 'ACTIVATED' at a prior Go City attraction before turning up at the Empire State Building it means that we are ineligible for a refund for any unused attractions ie. the Empire State Building. It's all mobile based for scanning entry so clearly visible we only visited 3 of our 4 attractions, this is clever way of evading having to give refunds for any you did not use. Very disappointed with Go City for taking our money like that. Three admissions to the Empire State Building isn't cheap. Not the easiest to contact either! Poor!

Not worth it, you cue to cue, scan and youre in...youre not!! most of the attractions you have to cue to get in then cue to transfer the city pass into a ticket...if you book direct with the attraction youre straight in, we arrived for top of the rock, we were front of the cue, at least 50 people were let in before us because we had to cue to transfer the ticket!
We booked a slot for the satue of liberty as advised but didnt reveive the confirmation email....i contacted go city who gave me a number to call because its nothing to do with them! (They sold me the ticket!) the attraction deals with the confirmation and apparently you NEED this! Rang the number ....no joy, automated...cost £30 for the call!! Eventually found a contact for the attraction who re sent the confirmation...then didnt even get asked for it on the day...so a waste of time and money ...why didnt the "specialist customer service" person give me an email rather than a number that cost me! Nothing specialist about the customer service!
The biggest let down of this pass is you cue to cue, no such thing as scan and go!!
The positive is the hop on hop off bus but you can book direct or there are loads of reps on the streets for this!!
If i went again i wouldnt buy the pass!!

The all inclusive NYC pass is not showing slots for Empire state building for any days in future. The customer support has no answers and asks to check next day.

It was a trip of a lifetime. I had the most amazing holiday with my bestie. Took so many photographs. The attractions we got to see using the passes were fantastic. Definitely recommend buying the city pass.
