We did the contrasts tour with a guide named Francisco.
First, on the tour you don't see what the neighborhoods look like, they simply drop you off at X prominent points so you can take photos. They didn't give us a description of the history of the neighborhoods as such, only the guide's stories or opinions, which seemed like a lie.
Second, our guide did not stop talking about his life, about the good decisions he had made, with a monologue that I would even describe as narcissistic. Furthermore, he told us exhaustively why young people are not on the right path and why if we buy designer clothes or have an iPhone we are fools (when he himself used an iPhone and was paying for one for his brother).
Anyway, we spent 5 hours in a van stopping to take photos while we listened to the guide give opinions on the lives and decisions of people that he described as "sociological analysis" (admitting, not very humbly, that a famous sociologist had congratulated him per tour).
It would be good if the guides talked objectively about the history of the area on their tours and without trying to be above others. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

We really enjoyed this tour, it gave some history and it felt very relaxing. Adrian and Jamie were very kind. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I reserve and pay and after 5 minutes they write to me telling me that the chosen date was not available. Of course, the payment was made and it took 14 days to return the money. Excellent tour, the guide was very friendly and answered all the questions, he described in great detail each of the places we visited.
My only observation is that we did not know that the tour did not end at the pickup location, the information could be clearer

The tour is great, and you have to do it no matter what, regarding that we have nothing negative to say.
Now if our complaint comes, they contact us to tell us the time and place of departure, after waiting more than 1 hour, they get in touch again asking where we are, what they are waiting for us. It turns out that they had told us wrong about the site, (we have everything in writing) after talking to several people, NO ONE solved this error that had been theirs. We had to make a living to continue the tour with the rest of the group and 2 hours late, we felt the distrust of the guide, (who I will not say the name, who does his job very well, we have no complaints) saying that They had NEVER told anyone about the place in a bad way, and the occasional joke was not malicious, we suppose, which we didn't find funny since we obviously came in a hurry and were overwhelmed taking meters to arrive on time and on top of that knowing that we had missed part of the tour that was the activity that we most wanted to do, and that no one did anything to help us, with all this we felt quite out of place on the excursion. We miss a little concern and understanding on the part of all the people who are part of the organization and execution of the excursion. It's a shame that no one bothered to solve the problem or cared, so we have a bittersweet memory.
I advise you to make a note of the place you are staying and confirm several times and insist, since we had asked twice before the day of the excursion if the place was correct and they confirmed it to us every time.
Despite all this, making sure of everything, I advise you to do the excursion since it is very good and well worth it.

Had a wonderful time. The destinations were interesting and fresh. Many iconic locations as well. Adrian, our tour guide was funny, engaging, organized and very knowledgeable. Take this tour. You won’t regret it!

They didn’t show up at place where they should be. I paid 98$ and they change location and didn’t want to come up for us. Very BAD experience and I wouldnt recommended.

We did the VIP tour with Lucas and it was simply spectacular.
Very good idea to start the trip in NY and have a global vision of the city.
Not only did he show us corners and tell us curiosities, but he set the tone for the entire tour with music and good vibes. He also gave us very good advice for the rest of the trip.
