This tour was AMAZING. We weren't expecting much, but turned out to be so interesting. All the different kinds of art and the different stories were fabulous. The guide was animated and knowledgeable. Would have loved to have a stop included to have a light lunch at the market we stopped at. The art is different every time so we'd do this again.

An amazing and fun tour! The knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide was great and would highly recommend! My group and I went on the tour on our first day in Nola and the rest of our trip we noticed and recognized the work of the artists around other parts of Nola. I’ve been to Nola 2 times before but this was the first time being exposed to the beautiful art scene of Nola. Thank you!!

This was by far the best tour I've done in NOLA, which showed off the cultural vibrance of this great city. Every stop on the tour had an interesting story, about the artists themselves, as well as their relevancy to the history and culture of NOLA. I was impressed with how many works of street art were packed in, and loved how the tour guide Tyler left no detail unnoticed, even directing our eyes to the art painted on the sidewalks. He had an incredible amount of knowledge about the artists and the evolution of various works, and was really witty and funny in a lot of his stories. I particularly enjoyed when we came upon a giant mural in progress and got to ask the artist some questions. I definitely will want to do this comprehensive tour again next time I come, since I'm sure there will be new works to see and stories to tell.

Recommend! It was only during the tour that I became aware of the densely packed small and large, long and short-lived art that can be found on walls, in yards and on the ground in the center of New Orleans. Our guide, Tyler, knew all the stories behind the murals, which range from political messages to tributes to local characters and even their pets. They often reflect New Orleans' resilience, activism and community, sometimes allowing quite intimate insights into the community without being intrusive. I also appreciate that our guide always made sure to credit the artists! Plus, our guide was not only fascinated by street art, but definitely also seemed to enjoy bringing it to as many people as possible.

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this tour! It was jam-packed with such interesting backstories of so many works of street art along a stretch of just a few blocks of St. Claude, which I probably would have just glanced at momentarily if I wasn’t on the tour. Our guide Tyler knew the street artists personally so he had the inside scoop on the deeper meanings of each piece and the dynamics between the artists in the scene. I could take this tour again and again, it was so rich. What a fun and inspiring way to spend an afternoon! I have a whole new perspective on street art.

We absolutely loved this art walk! Tyler was extremely knowledgeable about the artists and stories behind the art. We explored a section of the city we probably wouldn't have otherwise and were so happy we did. We learned so much about the different types of street art and history of many of the buildings, as well as current events. I highly recommend this tour!!

I live in New Orleans, and this was truly the best tourist type thing I've done in ages! The art was gorgeous and fascinating, and Tyler was so knowledgeable not only about the art techniques and symbolism, but the artists themselves. Plus, he gave great commentary about food and drink establishments all along St. Claude that now I have to go back and visit! Totally worth it to get a different experience of NOLA beyond the standard tourist traps. Go!
