Enjoy the stories on a walking tour through New Orleans’ elegant 19th Century garden neighborhood. You will get to look through the gates at Lafayette Cemetery #1, currently closed to the public. This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Stunning antebellum mansions, lush gardens, unforgettable stories, and beautiful photo opportunities await! We keep our group size under 12 guests to make in a fun, personal experience.

Libby was our tour guide and she was amazing. She not only knew the facts but she was able to weave them into an interesting story which brought the Garden District history to life.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our garden district walking tour with Yvonne. We learned a lot about the history of the area and the architectural style of the homes. The two hours zipped by. Loved the ending stop at a coffee shop where we enjoyed an ice coffee. I would highly recommend this tour.

Renee gave us an amazing walking tour! She was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and the area, and thoughtfully answered any questions we had along the way. Over time she has managed to get to know neighborhood locals so she certainly has the inside scoop. Our tour had 5 people in it. Not sure if that is normal for this tour, but we saw other groups during our tour that were 2-3x bigger, and we really enjoyed the intimacy of this smaller group. I highly recommend this tour!

Yvonne put the Garden District tour in a cultural/historical context which greatly appealed to me. She didn't dwell on the architecture, but rather focused on the confluence of events that led to its creation.

Yvonne was a wonderful guide and super knowledgeable. We booked this tour on a whim to have some direction as to navigating the Garden District, and it was quite a success. I learned so much history of New Orleans in so little time. We honestly could have walked and talked for hours. Five stars all around!

Jackie Bullock led an amazing tour for my partner and I. Jackie was engaging, personal and friendly. The tour was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to New Orleans and we cannot thank Jackie enough!

We took the street car named George (Kidding) from Canal Street to the Garden District and just strolled around unguided for a couple of hours. Beautiful homes and gardens, lots of shade. Next trip I might combine an afternoon stroll with a dinner at Commanders Palace (amazing food).

Renee covered a lot and added a lot of knowledge and perspective only a local could provide. Definitely would recommend!
