Deyse and Thomas were excellent guides. They were very clear in their instructions and made sure we were where we needed to be when we needed to be there. They had lots of interesting stories, folk tales and facts about the castle and the area. Highly, highly recommend this tour.

Very well organised tour. Our tour guides Nick & Patrick handled the large group with ease (Mon 22/4). Both guides were knowledgeable on the bus heading to the castle and on arrival. Bus was clean and the driver excellent. It was a cold, damp, snowy Spring day but that made the Castle visit all the more beautiful. Would definitely recommend Radius Tours.

The castle and landscape was absolutely breathtaking and we were in awe the entire time! But Thomas and Connie gave us so many stories that allowed us to really appreciate what we were seeing! They truly made the experience so much better and even more beautiful!

The 2 hour bus ride through the Bavarian countryside was breathtaking and the added information and history about the region mad it a very worthwhile investment. The convenience and guidance from our guides Nic and Stevo made the day stress-free. The parking in that area looked challenging and we just pulled in and got off the bus. I highly recommend! What a special day!

I took several tours while in Europe and this is one of the best. Nic and Stevo are the best. They were knowledgeable, flexible, accommodating, and so much fun. I highly recommend this tour using these tour guides.

The day trip to the Neuschwanstein Castle Tour was a truly magical experience! The tour guides Nic and Paul from Radius Tours were very engaging and entertained us along the way, as well as describing the history of Ludwig and pointing out some of the sights during the bus journey.
We were lucky with the weather and the scenery through Bavaria along the way was nothing short of stunning.
There were approximately 20 other people who joined the day tour from all parts of the world. Everyone was very enthusiastic and it was a very upbeat day.
The food selection was fairly decent at the kiosk below - we had time to grab an early lunch beforehand and it is definitely worth doing the walk all the way up the hill to the castle, where Paul illustrated the story of Ludwig. I really got into the feel of it that way.
The Neuschwanstein Castle Tour itself is relatively short and costs €20 extra but I enjoyed the tour guide we had and the architecture inside. I would advise to make the most of the scenery as well, in the time available, including the Hohenschwangau Castle, and the Marienbrucke bridge, where picturesque photos can be taken.
We had about 5 hours and a quarter altogether, and the journey either way is just under 2 hours. Perhaps 30 mins longer there would have been good.
I would highly recommend the Neuschwanstein Castle Tour especially if you are visiting Munich - it is a unique experience!

Absolutely outstanding tour! A long day and lots and lots of stairs!! But definitely worth it. We paid an extra 20 euro each for the inside tour of the castle and I would have gladly paid double to see it..just incredible.. definitely recommend this tour, but not for the faint hearted.. so many stairs!!
